The hotel is located in a lovely area, close to caffès and restaurants, shopping and the water front. The hotel lobby was clean and inviting, the staff was very kind, accommodating, informative and welcoming. Breakfast was plentiful and fresh with lovely staff. Our hotel room was compact and in serious need of update. The floor carpet was tired looking and needed more care. The shower bifold door had a moldy strip which didn’t seal properly and let water spill out on the bathroom floor. The garbage bin was old, stained and dirty looking. The kettle didn’t work however they kindly offered hot water for tea from their bar area. I had to contact front desk to have someone fix our television. Torn fabric covers on furniture. I was extremely disappointed with the room and didn’t hesitate to let them know. This hotel room should have been updated 10 years ago!
