The wood burning stove in the corner of the room makes it a cosy and relaxing room for all the family to enjoy. Just off the open plan living space is the conservatory, where the kids can enjoy a game of table football, or you can just sit and relax, taking in the wonderful views. Laird House is set on a working beef farm, where you are more than welcome to help out feeding the calves or the ducks and collecting the eggs! This beautiful holiday home is ideally placed for you to explore the wider area. Enjoy miles of stunning, dramatic coastline, with secluded little bays and sandy beaches; historical buildings; splendid National Trust Gardens and supreme mountain biking to more challenging hill walks. A meander round the picturesque little villages or Rockcliffe and Kippford, with their breathtaking sea views, is a must. For those with the shopping bug, why not visit the County town of Dumfries or Gretna Green Outlet Village? Or for a day trip, take a 5-minute drive to the train station at Lockerbie, heading out along the west coast main line. The area really has something for everyone!
