Besonders hervorzuheben ist die außergewöhnliche Haustierfreundlichkeit: Unser Hund wurde überall herzlich begrüßt und durfte uns sogar beim Essen in der Bar begleiten, was wir sehr geschätzt haben. Das Personal war durchweg höflich, aufmerksam und stets bemüht, unseren Aufenthalt angenehm zu gestalten. Kulinarisch hat uns das Hotel ebenfalls überzeugt: Das abendliche Vier-Gänge-Menü war hervorragend und das Frühstücksbuffet ließ keine Wünsche offen – mit einer tollen Käseauswahl, frischem Obst wie Heidelbeeren und Passionsfrucht sowie vielen weiteren hochwertigen Optionen. Ein kleiner Wermutstropfen war unser Zimmer zur Rückseite des Hauses. Dort verläuft eine Bahnlinie mit gelegentlichem Güterverkehr, inklusive Schranke und akustischem Signal („Bingbing“), was je nach Empfindlichkeit störend sein kann. Für uns war es kein Drama, aber man sollte es wissen – wer lärmempfindlich ist, sollte eventuell ein Zimmer zur Seeseite bevorzugen.
