Ground Floor: Bedroom: Kingsize (5ft) Bed Ensuite: Cubicle Shower, Toilet First Floor: Open plan living space. Living area: Freesat, DVD Player, Woodburner Dining area. Kitchen area: Electric Oven, Electric Hob, Combi Microwave/Oven/Grill, Fridge/Freezer, Dishwasher, Washer Dryer. Gas central heating, electricity, bed linen, towels and Wi-Fi included. Gloriously located in the centre of a peaceful rural village in the beautiful and unspoilt Ceiriog Valley, this charming, detached coach house conversion offers supremely comfortable and spacious accommodation within the grounds of the former rectory. The bathroom has a wonderful rain shower and outside, magnificent views down the valley can be savoured from the pretty raised terrace. The Coach House also has a small balcony and a courtyard herb garden. The village boasts two award-winning gastronomic country pubs. There is wonderful walking - the Berwyn Mountains are on the doorstep and Snowdonia is within easy reach - also bird watching and pony trekking. Chirk, an historic border town, has a good selection of shops, a magnificent castle (National Trust) and the 19th-century Telford aqueduct, whilst Llangollen’s steam trains, horse-drawn canal boat trips and world famous music Eisteddfod are within easy reach. Bathroom and spacious bedroom with very comfortable bed on ground floor. The Hand Hotel/Pub is across the road in the centre of the village, and is very welcoming and serves excellent food. Quite a remote location, but lots to do and see in the local area. The Coach House was perfect. The location is idyllic, with an amazing view from the first floor sitting area. The heating was on for when we arrived, which was very welcoming!! Really comfy stay, well equipped, slept really well!! The Hand pub is literally at the bottom of the drive, the food is amazing. Lots to do in the local area, Pistyll Rhaeadr is highly recommended. We have visited The Coach House on multiple occasions now and we just love it. The cottage has everything you need for a comfortable stay and the views from the cottage and the surrounding area are absolutely magnificent. There are 2 pubs within a very short walk of the cottage, both of which serve excellent food (The Hand being our favourite). Although there is no mobile phone signal, the Wi-Fi is excellent and there is a landline at the cottage if needed. We would thoroughly recommend this cottage and we will definitely be going back again and again.
