Enclosed back garden with sitting-out area and garden furniture. 2 dogs welcome, to be kept on a lead at all times (sheep country). Private parking for 2 cars. No smoking.. Orchard Barn is a beautifully converted detached holiday let nestled in the peaceful village of Dolau near Llandrindod Wells.  
  
The spacious open-plan living area features underfloor heating, a Smart TV, and a fully equipped kitchen for the designated chef. On the ground floor, there’s a comfortable kingsize bedroom with en-suite shower room. Upstairs, a large bedroom with two single beds and a modern family bathroom with a shower and heated towel rail complete the accommodation. Outside, enjoy a private enclosed garden with furniture, ideal for relaxing after a day’s exploring. The property also offers private parking for two cars, making it a convenient and cosy retreat in rural Mid Wales.  
  
Dolau is a quiet, picturesque village offering the perfect base for exploring the scenic beauty of Mid Wales. Just a short drive away is Llandrindod Wells, known for its Victorian architecture, lake, and spa heritage. You can enjoy leisurely walks around Llandrindod Lake or take to the hills on the nearby Elan Valley Trail, famous for its reservoirs and dramatic landscapes. Nature lovers will appreciate the Radnorshire Wildlife Trust reserves and the abundance of walking and cycling routes through the Cambrian Mountains. The Offa’s Dyke Path also passes nearby for keen hikers.  
  
For a bit of history, visit the Abbey Cwm Hir Hall or explore the ruins of Castell-y-Bere and other local castles. Families can enjoy the Small Breeds Farm and Owl Centre in Kington, or head to the Judge’s Lodging in Presteigne for an immersive historical experience.
