Penybryn - Overlooking the Towy valley

Penybryn is a large luxurious house that overlooks the Towy Valley. The inside is both Victorian and modern and is beautifully appointed.
To the front of the property you are minutes away from Llandeilo town where there are beautiful little boutique shops, restaurants and bars to explore.

It has an impressive large kitchen and dining area to the back of the property which is connected to a beautiful balcony that overlooks the whole of the valley. Perfect for entertaining and dining with family and friends.
It has a good sized living room for relaxing nights in front of the TV after a busy day exploring. Alternatively there is a pool table if you are feeling competitive.

Upstairs has 6 very large comfortable bedrooms three of which have en-suites. It also has a very spacious bathroom with a bath and shower for the three other rooms to share.

Outside has the beautiful balcony with comfy sofa and coloured lighting to relax in the day or evenings. It also has a large garden with patio area that overlooks the beautiful valley where you can watch the spectacular Kites flying around. You may even spot a hot air balloon passing by. It’s an ideal spot to sit out and relax on sunny days as the views are just breathtaking.

We also have a Hot Tub which is positioned perfectly to enjoy the beautiful views. Let the bubbles relax and unwind you after a busy day. Just perfect!

As a self catering house you will find everything you need for a perfect stay.

The kitchen has an American style fridge freezer, a large oven and hob, a toaster, kettle, coffee maker, dishwasher and microwave.

The house is a perfect place to relax with family or friends and offers televisions and internet access.

Linen, towels, hair dryers and an iron are all included to make your stay more comfortable.

  • #lksawaydays 4b/2020 Continuing to step back in time we travelled the short 5km journey to our 2nd castle as part of our Welsh castle double header at Dinefwr. Dinefwr Castle can be found within the 800 acre National Trust site of Dinefwr Park. Again a relatively small car park for an attraction of this size which includes the castle, Newton House, Deer Park and many wildlife walks including a Boardwalk as well as some of the oldest Oak trees in the UK. The inclusive price of £9.50 per adult was duly paid and we initially made a beeline for the ruins of Dinefwr Castle. The castle is believed to have been constructed under the instructions of Rhodri the Great and then rebuilt in the late 1100's by Rhys ap Gruffydd (Lord Rhys who built Carreg Cennen Castle) The castle has walkways which give superb views of Deer Park to the north and Towy Valley (and River Towy) to the west and south. After visiting the historic Welsh ruins we walked along a number of the trails before ending up at Newton House for a well earned coffee! #lksawaydays gives Dinefwr Castle and park a 👍

Perfect for a large family gathering

Beautifully clean, comfortable, well equipped house with stunning views. There was plenty of space for all ten of us (age range four months to eighty-five years), and a small dog. We had an amazing few days.

A real gem - return visit is a must!

What a fantastic stay to celebrate my Dads 80th Birthday, beautiful house with fabulous views! Kitchen and the whole house was well stocked with everything you could possibly need. Booking process seamless we even had a few bizarre queries (recent hip surgery) and nothing was too much trouble! A great home to celebrate with family and friends, perfect location plenty to do within walking distance, we didn’t use the car, as weather not the best but a pleasure to eat, relax and socialise together in these surroundings, the outdoor space is also beautiful so we want to come back in the summer!! An amazing weekend

The house and grounds are stunning. The view from the back of the house is unbelievable. Beds were comfortable, the showers were hot and there was plenty of space for everyone. The property was clean and comfortable. The owners communicated promptly over the couple of small issues that arose ( tvs not working and a hoover that blew the fuses) The local town was very quaint with some great restaurants, lots of places to walk our dog right from the door. We loved it Thank you

Spectacular Views and Spacious

The location and scenery is what sets this place apart. The amount, space and size of the rooms are really big. The hot tub and pool tables are a nice touch. If I was being picky the only downside would be the wifi was a little patchy and we were expecting to have toiletries available.

Amazing place to stay

The whole family arrived and first impressions were how big the house is. Absolutely amazing views from the rear garden. The games room was always occupied by some of us, as was the hot tub. We totally recommend this place
