The staff here is very helpful and polite especially Arman! They let me checkout an hour later as my flight is later in the afternoon! I cannot find anything to complain about the place! I had a wonderful stay and would definitely recommend! Rooms: 5/5 | Service: 5/5 | Location: 5/5 The room is a good size, bright, clean bathroom (the rain shower is amazing)! There is a mini fridge for drinks. The hotel is surrounded by residential buildings with lots of families around. It is about a 10-12 minute walk to the bus station that go to the airport, Lake Bled and Postojna Cave. The town square is about 5 minute walk- honestly with what you see around you wouldn’t mind the walk. Quiet, Great value

Located just outside city center you can walk to most areas. The hotel will provide you with a parking permit for €10 a day. That is actually a really good deal. Our room was clean. It was nice. Sometimes it was a little noisy and the noise was coming from the outside not within the hotel. I would stay there again they were very nice and accommodating to me.

Hotel room is basic but clean. Buffet breakfast is awesome. Walkable and close to bus station. It's a good bargain and I recommend this hotel.

This hotel is nicely situated near a community park and elementary school. It has 12 stories and a top communal deck that houses 2 bee hives and of course honey combs. The rooms are modern and lean close to the small size. We are people of 5’5” size and the rooms feels a little tight. The view is sufficient as it overlooks the park the city with its’ many buildings. This hotel was several blocks away from the main bus and train station which if I walked it at my own pace, would be about 10-12 minutes. We took longer due to the pace of my older mother-in-law. Uber is not an option in Slovenia. The breakfast buffet was good with the many selections. There are many people in this hotel and the selections they have was perfect. It was 10💶 per person extra, which was not included in our checkout via Orbitz. We also had to pay the hotel/VAT tax for all the hotels we stayed at (just FYI). The amenities were sparse here besides the dining area such as for the breakfast and a la carte dining times. There was no pool or sauna that was recommended or seen in the hotel booklet. The front desk was a matter of fact with little to no smile. English was spoken fine with no issues. Overall, this is a fair option for the budget conscious person and who may not mind the lack of amenities the hotel provides.

Good location, but no castle view
We arrived early (noon) for check in, and understandably, were told to come back as check in was at 3, as they had 115 people to check out/clean rooms. The staff person directed us to a parking ramp near by. He said it was less expensive than street parking (which had to be paid every 4 hours @ 1.4 euros/hour). We left our luggage (locked area), and came back at 3. A woman was at the desk, and she said our room wasn’t ready and we had to come back at 3:30 or 4…as they had 115 people to check out. At the same time, another staff person was negotiating a room rate with a walk-in, and they got a room right away. When another young couple came in (without a reservation), and were getting a room I started to complain. Bingo, our room magically was ready. Low and behold…not a cleaning person in site to ‘ready our room’. So…check in was not pleasant. I had booked a room with a ‘castle view’ over 6 months prior. See the photo of what the view was like lying in our bed, and the main view from our window of the building next door. We had to stand in the opposite corner of the room and stretch to see a view of the castle out our window. Take any other view but the castle one! Also, the parking ramp was $28 for 20 hours just FYI

Great staff, great location.
The hotel staff and location is what makes this such a great place to stay. The beds are on the firm side and the breakfast buffet is pretty limited, however it's a short walk away from the heart of Old Town and there are many restaurants in the area. As an added bonus you have the option to get fresh honey from the bee hives on the roof.

Had a lovely stay here; very clean, comfortable but not fancy hotel. Breakfast was simple but good - coffee not amazing from the auto-machine thing! Can't buy a drink once the restaurant is closed to drink in my room was the only complaint! Something to consider!! Thanks for a wonderful stay though - everyone was super-friendly.

The location of the hotel is great, a city is quite small so it was easy to get to the center. One of the face towels had permanent black stains what I did not like, but apart from that overall stay was pleasant.

On balance we were disappointed with the hotel - and glad to leave. There were large tour groups staying - hence long waits at reception, lifts and it could be quite busy at breakfast time. The breakfast was adequate - but nothing special. The staff could be more positive and helpful.

Absolutely pleased on the quality out of this budget hotel. I stayed 2 non sequential nights so got to use 2 different rooms. Both very new, recently renovated. I loved the very power showers, the minimalist design and the excellent breakfast (freshly baked croissants). Staff was also very helpful, gave me some needed tips and helped me out printing a document I needed. Thank you!

The hotel was clean. The check in process started with a 30 minute wait in line. Then the man checking me in questioned why I would need 1 room for 4 people, because “rooms are for 2 people”. I’m not sure why he felt the need to tell me this because we booked and paid in advance for 1 room for my family of 4. My children are 7 & 10, so I told him we are not in the practice of booking a separate hotel room for our children. Not to mention that they offer family rooms, with a queen bed and pull out double bed. It was all very confusing and pointless. We got to the room and shortly after we noticed a lot of loud club music playing. We went to dinner and came home around 10 and the music was still playing. I went to the front desk and asked if there was a night club nearby. They informed me it was a birthday party on the roof, (we were staying on the 11th floor) that was sure to finish at 10:30. We went to bed and woke up to the trance music thumping louder. We finally went back down to the front desk at 2 am and asked why the party was still going so loudly. They assured us they would have it shut down. We eventually got back to sleep. The man I spoke with at checkout did apologize, however, I would not recommend this hotel based on the general lack of good service by the staff from the previous day.

Ljubljana great economy hotel
Economy hotel in walking distance from city center. Nice breakfast included in our stay. View of Ljubljana old town and castle from our window (well, from our room, not all rooms get this view). Ljubljana center itself is pretty nice, all in walking distance and can be covered within one day.

The location is great The hotel has running water that’s about it The check out time is 11:00 but the cleaning staff will be hoovering outside your room from 8:30 daily Walls are thin gap in the door allows so much light in you will know when anyone enters the floor from the lift they will also alert you with the slamming door. curtains do not shut fully so you will catch the sunrise

Everything was very nice. The only issue is that this hotel caters to Chinese tourists. Almost every morning while I was here the breakfast room was packed with said group, who are loud, pushy, and wasteful. It is more quiet and peaceful later on around 8:30 or 9:00. Almost every evening I was here, sometime between 17:00 - 19:00 a new group would come and completely block the lobby, stairwell, and elevators with no concern for others. The front desk and restaurant staff were friendly and kind. However, if management is going to make economical decisions that cater to Chinese tour groups, other travelers need to know, because it is not a comfortable environment.
