Dvor Tacen B&B was an absolute gem! The rooms were cozy and the beds comfy. Breakfast was tasty and generous, and both the cafe and the tavern next door had great food for dinner. Ajda and her colleagues were all super helpful and shared lots of tips. We would most certainly stay again.

The best accommodation and meals of our trip!
Best place in our 28 day Germany, Austria, slovenia, Croatia holiday. Quaint, small, family run place with friendly staff, beautiful accommodations, and a wonderful restaurant and coffee shop right below (we had the best meals of our trip there!). It has a great location,with navigating to and from it was very easy.

We stayed here for one night before our flight out of Ljubljana. Very nice, small property with a restaurant attached. Staff was very attentive, rooms were a nice size. Easy access to airport.

Great stay!
Beautiful B&B with a delicious breakfast. The room was cleaned and smelled good. The bed was very comfortable. I wish I would have been able to stay more than one night!

The staff was truly exceptional and naturally kind. The room was large, recently renovated, with a/c. Large bathroom. Breakfast was excellent, taken on the patio. There is a very popular and good restaurant next door, that is related to the hotel. Parking is free but quite busy! Although located outside Ljubljana, there is a bus that runs every 20 min and takes you downtown the city (where parking is virtually impossible) in 25 min.

They serve the best breakfast spread during our 10 day tour of Croatia and Slovenia. Very nice relaxing b&b and the friendliest service we had the entire trip too. It is 20min to old down Lubljana by car. They offer free bus pass but we didn’t get a chance to use that since we drove.

people were very nice, helpful and friendly. They helped you when you asked for something, gave you information about a lot of things made you feel at home. The situation close to a big river is charming, there are many possibilities vor nice walks.

Dvor Tacen provided a home like feel away from the hustle and bustle of the city! Very neat interior, breakfast was delicious and the people there were all nice!

This was the best place. Easy bus to and from old town center. Free parking. All staff members were great! And the breakfast...cook to order eggs, and great service. Nice patio on the river. Bar is open late. Can’t say enough about this place.

The place served its purpose for our brief passing through the area. We wanted a place with parking and easy access to highway. The staff was helpful. Breakfast was quite good.

Beautiful scenery from a mountain view balcony room. Hotel had quite a bit of construction going on out front, so it should be even better by 2019.

Hidden gem
Yes, it may seem like you are out in the boonies but actually you are only 20 minutes or less from town using the bus which is right across from the hotel. We did several times and it was wonderful, the staff explain how it works and it went off without a hitch. and it you enjoy hiking the mt trail is just down the road, I did one morning and my brother did the next. Its worth the hike to see the church and its not as hard as it seems, several places to rest. Several nights for dinner we ate at the restaurant which is next door to this B&B, excellent food.

It was a wonderful stay. We were there 7 nights and it turned out to be a terrific choice for our home base. We took advantage of the convenient bus stop in front of Dvor Tacen. Bus use was easy and clean. Staff helped us make arrangements for different adventures. We certainly felt taken care of! Vhala (thank you) Dvor Tacen. We hope to see you again one day!

We stayed here one night before our flight out of Ljubljana back home. The hotel is about 15-20 minutes from the airport (cost us 20 EUR). Daniela, our host, was warm and friendly, our room large and comfortable, the restaurant next door was excellent. The hotel is overlooking a Sava river and we walked along its banks for a while, it all made for a very pleasant stay.

Excellent choice for a stay if you wish to be minutes outside of city. Attentive, knowledgeable staff and great accommodations. Appealing riverside lounge is a bonus. Great options for easy and quick access to the city. Don't miss nearby Smarno Gora and the traditional food served at the top.

Beautiful hotel and friendly and informative staff
We arrived late so the hotel employee in the lounge, who seemed to be covering the front desk, carried our bags upstairs and gave us a quick rundown of the premises. Super friendly. Great location to drive into Ljubljana or go to Postojna or Lake Bled. The lady at the front desk (Daniella?) was very helpful with suggestions for parking and sightseeing. They even had loaner umbrellas for us to take for the day. Parking seemed to be lacking until you talk to the staff. They will make a spot for you if it is full but we never had a problem. There is a good restaurant next door as well. A very relaxing stay, I would recommend this hotel.

Quick stay at a B&B
Arrived around 9pm and there were no parking spaces due to the pub located within 20 ft of the B&B. We had to park our car across the street, waiting until the bar patrons left, before finding an open parking spot. Our bedroom was clean and the breakfast was tasty. Service was courteous. We did not stay long enough to enjoy the bar or the river next door.
