What a beautiful hotel, modern bathrooms, very clean, great sleep and right on the river in the center of it all. Our only trouble was with parking, but two block walk to the underground secure garage was still manageable with luggage and three kids. This hotel is a perfect location and great price.

We liked this old fashioned character property. Well situated. Internal stone steps (no lift) and bed access (side against wall) may be difficult for some people.

Excellent location, staff at hotel very helpful and friendly, breakfast very good and bed very comfortable. Very spacious room with large bathroom and 2 bedrooms Would have been good to have some soap at the bathroom sink and could have done with a bin in the main room and a better selection of tea bags, but would definitely recommend

Staff very friendly, good choice of food in the restaurant for breakfast, a nice sized room. For us the only negatives were the toilet area was quite small and close to the shower and wall, also no door on the shower so the floor got wet if shower head pointing the wrong way. Apart form that we loved the hotel, the area it’s located was nice and easy to get too and a great location within the old town. Bar area nice to sit and have a drink plus not expensive either. Staff were so helpful with booking trips and shuttle bus for us and also gave good advice on what to eat and where. We would definitely love to go back, Ljubljana is a lovely place to visit and this hotel a great place to stay.

Loved this small and friendly hotel. Location is great and beautifully situated for the historic sights around the old town. Staff were so friendly and helpful and made me feel welcome throughout. Would definitely recommend a stay here.

I got here unexpectedly when my car needed a service in my longer way from South East Europe to Prague.. But the upgrade I got is fabulous. Never stayed in approx 85sqm with two terraces of same size and a jacusi-like / spa like bathroom. Recommended and go for room 701 ;)

Castle walk, cosy hotel, good location.
Nice hotel located five mins walk to main attractions.short walk to castle.check in was easy.no lift so be aware of a lot of luggage.room was big and clean.had room at back looking into back garden. Seperate door to access garden as well.breakfast was good with excellent service and attention to detail.perfect cosy hotel for easy access to city.

Small and quiet hotel. Recommended.
This is a small friendly hotel located on the edge of the pedestrianised old town part of the city. Only a few minutes walk from the funicular to the castle and only seconds from lots of restaurants and cafes. We had a suite at the back of the hotel and it was extremely quiet. The bedroom was large and comfortable. The suite had a separate room with a sofa and space for luggage etc. The bathroom was large and clean. The building itself is very old and has charm. Private transfers to and from the airport can be booked online, at the airport counters or at the hotel. They cost 38 Euros and take around 30 minutes. Shared transfers are 10 Euros per person. The local bus is much cheaper but the timetable is infrequent. The breakfast was varied and perfectly adequate. I enjoyed our stay and would recommend this small hotel to others.

The location is superb. The hotel is beautifully clean. Breakfast selection is good but coffee and orange juice could’ve been better. Staff are sometimes hard to find if you need something but it is a small hotel and this is not really a problem as they were always accommodating. The reasons for not giving 5 stars are that the shower is too small, the toiletries were very basic and our tea and coffee wasn’t replenished when used, meaning we had to go and ask for more each morning (nor were our cups washed up after use on one occasion) none of these would stop us staying here again but are expected in a four star accommodation.

This property is converted and is quirky. However the owners have done a great job and its a beautiful place to stay very close to the pedestrian centre. Very helpful staff, lovely rooms, close to lots of restaurants. My one issue would be that there is no lift, but with this sort of renovation, it is not a possible add-on.

The staff was great! We were greeted by a pleasant man who carried our luggage up all the flights of stairs to our room (there is no elevator). The furnishings are a bit dated, but the room was clean and beds were extremely comfortable. We also had a view of the castle from our window. They served a great breakfast in the morning. The hotel is located in a nice quiet area, close to shops and restaurants and the Triple Bridge.

Perfect location, lovely rooms and amazing staff!
This hotel was perfect for our stay. The staff was super nice and helpful, the room was clean, roomy, had great views and everything was just perfect. The bathroom is huge, with a stand up shower and separate tub. The location is one street up from the river, on a cute square, near shopping and restaurants and a quick walk to the castle. The staff happily arranged a taxi for us and provided local information that made our stay just that more enjoyable. I would not hesitate to stay at this location again. Thank you!!

The location of the hotel was ideal. In the attractive old town, close to the river and the many cafes, bars and restaurants. The historic building had been tastefully refurbished to a high standard yet still retaining elements of it’s past. The staff were polite, helpful and friendly. The room was comfortable and we appreciated the efficient air conditioning. The only improvement we could suggest would be that bottled water could be provided free of charge as in most other hotels of this standard.

We stayed here for 2 weeks - from the moment we arrived we were met by friendly staff. We were checked into room 6 and it was a lovely room with adjoining bathroom & Shower overlooking the busy street which led to Ljubljana Castle. The room had a big flat screen tv, air con and coffee & tea making facilities (a huge bonus!) and a small fridge. The buffet breakfast was flavourful and was always well stocked with different foods, both selections of cooked items and continental style products in a very pretty breakfast hall. The “secret” garden is beautiful! Perfect also for taking your breakfast in. It has various levels and the view from the top tier is gorgeous! Well worth taking a look! The cleanliness of this hotel is absolutely A++ it is immaculate and always smells lovely, the hardworking team do a fabulous job. I was shown such kindness from all of the staff when my husband unfortunately became seriously ill and had to go to the hospital, nothing at all was too much trouble for any of them, their kindness and help was truly very welcomed at such an incredibly worrying time. They arranged taxi’s for us, were calm and their demeanour reassured me; all of the staff repeatedly asked how my husband was (he was in hospital for a week) and I don’t really know how I would’ve coped if it wasn’t for them. Hotel Galleria was every part 4 stars.... it is a beautiful building with the best staff you could ever wish to meet and we are so glad that we chose to stay here.

Great Location
This is a smaller, very nice hotel located right in the old town. The rooms are nice. It is in the pedestrian only area of old town and is close to all the main sites and a lot of great restaurants. The wifi is good and the bed is comfortable. The breakfast was good too.
