This was the closest hotel we could find to SU. Not super convenient but close enough to manage. Room was large but for the price expected more. Room cooling was loud fab sound and towels were worn. Staff was friendly.
We stopped there for the night on the journey from Toronto to Philadelphia. It perfectly suited our purpose. The hotel is clean, in good condition with large clean rooms, immaculate bed sheets and all the modern amenities. Conveniently located just at the intersection of Hwy 90 and Hwy 81, the hotel is surrounded by several restaurants and coffee shops. Breakfast was continental but still featured some good omelette.
We did not need to interact too much with the staff which is exactly the way I like it.
We stayed at the Super 8 Liverpool for family weekend at Le Moyne College in Syracuse, NY. The overall appearance was not bad. It is clean when you walk in. The room we stayed in was spacious. The breakfast was okay. I wish there was more fresh fruit offered and more yogurt. The orange juice was not very good. The waffles were fine and the whole breakfast area was kept clean while we were there.
"Great hotel - staff, room accommodations, location"
Stayed at Staybridge in Liverpool, NY to visit family and attend class reunion. Hotel located near NY Thruway and Route 81. The one bedroom suite was very clean and spacious, nice kitchen with appliances, dinner plates, glassware, etc. The staff was extremely pleasant and the level of customer service was outstanding. All members of the staff had a smile on their face and a pleasant greeting. I live in Las Vegas and the hotel staff here could learn a lot about customer service from the staff at Staybridge. We will definitely be staying at Staybridge on our return trips to Liverpool.
Overall we had a very nice comfortable room (2 queen beds). Room wasn't 100% clean (chocolate wrapper on the floor next to the bed).
Bathroom door was our biggest problem. The bathroom door is a sliding door that slides on the outside of the frame and not in between the door posts. The door has wide gaps on both sides and there's no privacy. One can hear and see whoever is in there doing their business.
Third stay at this hotel and through the years it is showing it's age around the edges. Breakfast was varied, but not exceptional in quality. Breakfast staff pleasant and helpful. Front desk staff friendly and knowledgeable. House keeping lacking our stay was for 7 days and other than making the bed, emptying the trash and furnishing towel did not appear much else done.

At the Hampton Inn Syracuse Clay New York hotel you*ll find exactly what you need. Whether you*re traveling for business or …More
On arrival the night staff seemed more interested in doing their "work" than welcoming us to their property. It was a very back handed check in and when I asked anything such as getting a cab... responses were "well of course we cannot call one for you" or "of course we cannot take you to that location" . I did not even say I wanted either. So negative. I simply asked if they had services they recommended. Very similar response when I asked about places to eat near by. The worst was that on the morning of check out the neighboring room go into some domestic freak out and you could clearly hear full conversations in normal voice with pleading and escalating to crying and door slamming. It was upsetting. The day staff was spunky and all smiles. The room was large and clean. The TV is not intuitive to use and I'm tech savvy. The rate was decent. We stayed here because all rooms closer to SU were sold out. This is not a first choice for us but in a pinch we made it work.
Great place to stay. So clean and crisp. The only thing that I would recommend is having an extra set of blinds in the window to keep the parking lot lights out of the room. The room was so comfortable and so many things in the room ie, microwave, mini fridge and seating. So close to the mall and a lot of thins to do. Will stay again for sure.
