Could be better

Really very central location so do expect some night time noise. Our own stay was very noisy due to some roadworks outside that lasted all day. Apartment (double) was very roomy and reasonably equipped for self catering ie lack of cleaning equipment, no tea-towels. Check-in was a little fraught as they had been texting me on a land-line and not a mobile, so we didn't receive any of the beforehand information. Otherwise it was ok and we'd go there again, mainly because of its position and the space it affords.

When we arrived at our apartment we where greeted with an unsafe leak coming through the light fitting in the bathroom. We had actually booked two apartments so we moved to the other one. Which was slightly better. The apartment furniture chair and couch need a good clean with various stains on them. The beds although uncomfortable where clean. the kitchen although very small was clean however there was no plug that fitted the sink so doing the pots was a ball ache. The bathroom was fine except that there was not a fitting plug in that sink which made shaving almost impossible. The shower had a very slippery base and no shower matt. Which was unsafe!!. The bars and restaurants around the property were extremely noisy well into the early hours which made sleep very difficult.

The property did not look like the photos. The sofa was dirty and other items of furniture were damaged. The property is next to a club so it is very noisey especially at thebend of the week. This property is great if you are going out clubbing but not if you are planning to get a good nights sleep.

Basic and clean, but not for those wanting rest

This L1/Happy Days apartment was clean and functional, but very basic and with well-worn furnishings. You need to go up two flights of stairs to reach even Apartment 1 and there is no elevator. The location was excellent; however, that comes with a lot of noise from neighbors and the apartment was right on top of and/or next to a very loud nightclub. The nightclub’s music could be heard throughout the apartment from early evening to early in the morning (0300-0500) Friday-Sunday. Staying at this property over a weekend is not recommended unless you will be out all night long yourselves and want a weekend party base. Definitely not recommended for families with children or seniors wanting to go to bed early/sleep through the night due to the noise.

Great location, basic accommodation, a few issues.

After a long drive I first had issues finding parking, then when I arrived it was locked, so and I had numerous phone calls before someone let me in. Then it wasn't far, but enough of a walk with luggage to the apartment. Once there the location was very good for exploring Liverpool. The apartment was basic but sufficient. On arrrival I found the washing machine out of use which did not impact me, but not ideal. My bedroom window was open, and too high to close, so I struggled to sleep with the noise before someone came to close it the next day. Although not dirty, it was ckear it hadnt been cleaned to the highest of standards.

Very poorly kept

The kitchen/living room window is single glazed (or at least feels that way) and has zero soundproofing, which is a necessity in what is a busy and loud location. The kitchen floor had crumbs of food in some places. The sofabed is unstable and full of dirt marks and the duvet under the sofabed had two sizable brown marks on it, which is just unacceptable. The bathroom sink is clogged and fills up quickly. The very least a customer should expect is a clean appartment and this fell well short.

Apartment was amazing It was warm and clean Situated in the best spot for visiting the city. Staff where helpful and on time . Will definitely use again .

City Centre Value

If you are looking for a base to explore Liverpool and in particular the night-life, then this place is ideal, otherwise not so good. The property itself is very well placed, but this means that when the clubs and pubs call time there are many people making their way home. The apartment was very well decorated and furnished, but wooden floors meant that there was a little noise from other floors. Beds looked to be from IKEA and were a little short for me at 6'2". The rea outside is being pedestrianised so expect some building disruption at present.

Great time had by all

Excellent accommodation friendly staff really enjoyed my stay the apartment had everything we needed possibly could have done with an ironing board but wasn't a major problem all in all a great place to stay and would definitely recommend the apartments
