The house was stunning and very clean. Although we got eaten alive by the bugs outside it was in a nice surrounding area. The only issue we had with staff was that after breakfast we were told that we hadn't paid which we thought we had so when we were handed the debit machine we meant to only tip on the breakfast but ended up tipping on the whole amount which cost a lot more than we wanted to.

Beautiful setting, gracious and knowledgeable owner, wonderful rooms. Every room had a unique atmosphere, and decor. The bathrooms were updated, clean, spacious. I absolutely LOVED this Inn.

Went to treat ourselves, arrived to be attacked by mosquitos as we tried to find the entrance to the Inn. Waited for a few minutes, ringing the bell to get someones attention as we were still trying to get all the bugs off. Walked up to our room, and the heat hit us as we walked up the stairs. We asked about the hot tub and canoeing - both reasons for choosing this spot. Hot tub was an additional $10.00 on already overpriced room tide and tide was down so we were unable to use canoes (tide would not be back up until 11pm). No supper option. We asked to cancel but the man would not even listen to our concerns. We decided to leave rather than stay in an uncomfortable situation and one that was truly disappointing. Had wished we book Super 8 in Amherst like we did the year before!

Hello, I´m not really sure, what I should answer...your wait time was under a minute (surveillance camera), the AC in your room was off, so just put it on.We are not able to change the weather and the tides, but we want to. You didn´t ask for Dinner at the Inn and you didn´t ask for other options in the area. When you asked me later for cancellation, I was checking-in a other family and your room was used by you and already paid. You have every time the right to cancel, I have no idea what was uncomfortable for you, the extra fee for the saltwater hottub. the low tide? Sorry, I don´t know.

The place in general is fine. Nothing great but comfortable. The owner attitude was terrible. The coffee machine in the room was broken, so I asked if we could have a cup of coffee, she looked like I had asked for the Island treasure. I had to ask again and when she finally gave us the coffee, we had to drink right where we were. I asked if I could take the cup to our room, she said no. We had to drink right there. Incredible.

Quiet - well away from everything
We arrived late so did not get the full experience of the Inn. We had already made arrangements to connect with friends for breakfast so did not use the onsite restaurant. I think this is more a place for a couples weekend away than a family overnight.

Lovely facility with some hiccups!
Really beautiful and quiet place. The poor internet connection and cleanliness of the jetted tub are what brought down our ratings. Also there were no instructions on how to operate the jetted tub.

Beautiful building
Nice property & building, but not very friendly & bed was very uncomfortable . Rural setting meant you had to travel approximately 25 minutes to get to a restaurant for a meal.

Dear Anonymus, thank you for staying with us and your review, sorry that we are located directly on the atlantic ocean and you needed to travel to get some food, but you could have also made a dinner reservation in advance to have your 4 course meal with us, all our mattresses are high-class mattresses, of course any back is differend, for some are they just to hard, sorry for that.

It was a nice stay. We all enjoyed.
We stayed at the inn for 2 nights. When we arrived, there was a mistake on the booking. They switched us to a bigger room with no time at all. Room was clean and tidy. The setting inside the room made us feel like at home. Sit down quality English breakfast with order in advance was wonderful. All the staffs were friendly and helpful. For sure will go back to stay if we go to P.E.I. again.

Unique Lodging
We enjoyed our stayed in Log Point Building, Large king Room a short walk from the Little Shemouge Inn where we had very good dinner and breakfast. We wouldnt have changed anything except the table we had breakfast as it was very awkward eating from the low bucket chairs.

Charming guest house!
Beautiful setting - but the mosquitoes kept us indoors. Better than nicely appointed spaces - gorgeous! The decorating throughout was really charming. Breakfast, not included in the room price, was absolutely PERFECT! Wonderful time there and would recommend to everyone!

Super experience!
These people have incredible style: An absolutely beautiful, separate, house for guests decorated in eclectic, sophisticated European-American style. Every detail is perfect. Super comfort. Water views from the living room, where you can pull up chairs in front of a huge wall of windows and drink wine while the sunset displays itself before you. What is this magnificent place doing in a tiny town in Nova Scotia? I don't know. I'm just glad we had an opportunity to enjoy it. (And a full, lovely breakfast as well!)

A Gem Along the Coast in New Brunswick!
Excellent retreat in New Brunswick. Janine and Marko are excellent hosts. Janine provided us with ideas on things to do in the area (including Lobster Festival in Shediac and dining suggestions). The room (we stayed in one of the suites in Log Point annex) was beautiful, clean, and with a great view of the ocean! The grounds were very peaceful! Breakfast at the Inn was excellent - fruit salad, selection of breads/jams/marmalades/honey, cheese, eggs, toast, coffee/tea...all served in there beautiful sunroom in the main house. I would definitely stay there again!
