"We loved the house! Upon entering, the first thing that came to my mind was "WOW, what a steal!" Picturesque views and the proximity to town made our vacation so enjoyable! Loved the little path down to the beach, definitely wish we had done that more. Just a few downsides though. The bed wasn't that comfortable for us, but that's just a preference for a firmer bed. Also the "paperwork" was a bit much and a little annoying. Other than that, we had a very good time and highly recommend this...

"Wonderfully located and thoughtfully appointed - this property was the perfect spot to enjoy Mendocino! This is the perfect place to stay with extended family as there are 2 properties but also plenty of space to socialized together. We really appreciated the stylish decor, thoughtful welcome gift and well appointed kitchen, bathrooms and laundry (best tea and coffee selection we have ever had at a holiday rental!!!) Thank you!"

"The cottage we stayed in was very private and cozy. The bed was super comfy and nice bedding too. We asked for a second lamp so we could each read at night and they were very accommodating. The cottage is a little funky/old and didn’t seem 5 star clean, but was very comfortable for our 2 nights there. "

"Finding myself on my own for the holidays, I decided to make a short trip to Mendocino, and area that I love. I checked in on Christmas Eve, and stayed for two days. The bed was incredibly comfortable, and I was pleased to have a fireplace, sitting area, small refrigerator and coffee maker. The receptionist at the front (I wish I could remember her name) was incredibly helpful in advising me which places would hold Christmas Eve services, and made sure I had anything I needed. "It has a lot of charm but sadly we made a fire in the fireplace and made sure the flue was open but still the room was filled with smoke even with the door open the smoke alarm went off. Also the refrigerator didn't work. I am sure this is not typically the case, but Sweetwater resort never got back to me when I emailed them regarding these matters."
