Our stay was wonderful. The funicular is literally next door, and it allows for wonderful dinner options at the bottom of the hill. The staff was exceptional. They went above and beyond to make our stay comfortable. We even got upgraded to a room with a view. Will definitely stay here again.

We stayed at 2 different properties during our time in Lisbon but we should have just stayed here the entire time! The other hotel was nothing in comparison! The property, staff, amenities are all top notch here- 10 Stars!

We had a great stay in the penthouse two bedroom two bath. Perfect for our family. beautiful view of the city. It was an easy walk or tram ride down into the old part of town. Breakfast everyday at the hotel was amazing.

Staff was friendly and extremely helpful , very knowledgeable about Lisbon dining and touring opportunities. Beautiful rooms in remodeled mansions at the top of a hill overlooking Lisbon. Nearby funicular. Beautiful and delicious breakfast buffet. Dining opportunity at hotel and new bar. Great ambiance. Highly recommend.

Wow, from start to finish this hotel has got it right. We stayed in the apartment with our 11 year anniversary of son who enjoyed the stay equally. The hot tub was a great addition! Both restaurants especially two monkeys were excellent! The staff were incredible, knew their stuff and super welcoming! The hotel is a beautiful property and we all agreed we haven’t been anywhere like it- fantastic value! We will be back! Thank you

We travel quite a bit and we can’t think of anything that was wrong with this hotel. The staff, the grounds, and the room all exceeded expectations. My husband is obsessed with the bath products. This will be our new go-to hotel in Lisbon. We can’t wait to see the new entrance when it’s complete.

A gem in Lisbon
This is an absolute gem in Lisbon. The hotel is beautiful. A collection of charming, rustic buildings, but with all the modern comforts and amenities. The location is incredible, with stunning views of Lisbon and yet close enough to easily get around. The pool was the perfect oasis of calm to visit after of a busy day of sight-seeing and all of the staff were very attentive. I also recommend visiting 2monkeys if you get the chance for an amazing dining experience.

The location was great. The construction noise was terrible and woke us up each morning. Our door would not properly close or lock which left us uneasy and we had to ask for a fan because the room was hot. The staff was friendly and helpful and the breakfast was plentiful. Not exceptional, but adequate.

After a month of hectic interailing and cycling through Europe we decided to spoil ourselves with a couple of days rest at the Torel Palace. It was wonderful, in a special setting with happy staff giving us perfect service and great food and drink. What could be better. Would highly recommend.

The welcome drinks and snacks, pieces of chocolate in the evening, bathrobes and footwear for use in room, umbrella available, buffet breakfast with great variety and friendly staff. I was disappointed in the food I ordered at the restaurant both for lunch and dinner. Very few items on the menu.

My best friend and I spent just over a week at the Torel Palace and we could not have had a better experience. We travel for pleasure a few times a year and this hotel exceeded all of our expectations. The staff was fabulous and accommodated any request we had, with a smile and pleasant attitude. The breakfast was exceptional with so much variety. I could not wait to get back to the hotel after a day of sight seeing to lounge in the pool and relax in one of the cabanas. I will be certain to recommend the Torel Palace to any friends planning a trip to Lisbon. Again, the staff was phenomenal. I wish I could remember everyone’s names but thank you Beatriz and Ialana for being so accommodating especially the first few days of our stay.

Good hotel, with slight inconveniences
The room is clean well-maintained, but it is a bit inconvenient for someone wishing to use a laptop or battery chargers. The working space on the desk is small and there is no wall socket close to it.

Torel Palace was truly magical and with the planned expansions will only be getting better. Our room had a beautiful stained glass window, hardwood floors, and we slept so well on the mattress. Loved the sun beds, the new snack bar, and both restaurants on site are exceptional. A beautiful, quiet stay that truly made our vacation.

The hotel was just beautiful from the minute you came through the gate. The views were stunning and pool, bar, terrace, restaurant and all the tram were just fabulous. Service was brilliant yet unobtrusive. I’m not a fan of a breakfast buffet but have to say it was very well done, maintained and options were excellent for all tastes. Restaurant was stunning in the evening as sun went down in the terrace. The airport transfer was seemless, would highly recommend. Thank you all for a gorgeous stay, we never go back to the same place as feel the world is such a big place but we will definitely come back here!

Love that it was up on a hill, removed from all the noise of the city. Loved the pool, staff and amenities in the room. Great that all the mini bar items were free of charge.
