Casa Vela Boutique House and its garden grounds were absolutely stunning. Our room was spacious and beautifully decorated with a tranquil view of the lush gardens and pools. Our balcony had lounge chairs, as well as a patio table and chair set. We had stair access to the pool below. Casa Vela's on-line pictures give you a good understanding of their hotel. In person, it impresses more. The stylish sitting and dining areas for guests were comfortable and inviting. There was an outdoor courtyard and a spacious balcony off both areas if you wanted to have a glass of wine or enjoy breakfast outside. The staff was very accommodating, always friendly. The hotel is located about a ten/fifteen-minute walk from Cascais town center. We walked to the bus and train station everyday with ease. The train to Lisbon is a 40-minute ride, 30 minutes to Belem, never once thought staying in Lisbon would have been better. While the return to the hotel is uphill, we appreciated the views and the feeling of being part of the very attractive (and safe) neighborhood. Breakfast was always tasty, with a variety of fresh fruits, cheeses, meats, eggs, breakfast breads and pastries, and juice. We took advantage of the shuttle service to the airport. Our driver was on-time, friendly, and a careful driver. We stayed five nights and wished our stay could have been longer. I highly recommend Casa Vela and should I return to Cascais will stay here again.

What an amazing place most beautiful buildup with gorgeous rooms and wonderful shared areas, loved the lounge with honesty bar (and cat) and the gardens were lovely. We were in room 12 really comfortable and quiet.
