Fantastic breakfast, staff was very nice and accommodating. The only downside to me was the air conditioning. It shut off if you weren’t in the room. I had to get an extra key to leave in the room to keep it running. I came back the first day and my room temperature was 29°C. Even with it running all day, I couldn’t get it to go below 21°. If you are a person who “runs hot”, this might be an issue for you.

The friendliest evening greeting staff I've ever encountered. They truly made our trip so special. The hotel was nice and in a great location. We felt like we were at home, as much as we could being so far away.

The room smells very musky. The shower stall was leaking creating a pool on the washroom floor. The safe was also never working despite asking the front desk about fixing it.

Loved staying here. Very central location, staff is extremely helpful and the whole check in and check out process is quick and convenient. I stayed in the single room which was quite small but I didn’t mind it since I was out exploring most of the day. Also like how breakfast is included.

Nice but very limited staffing. Need to start breakfast earlier for those leaving early for tours or departure (before 8 am). Bed is a bit hard and bouncy, needs a memory foam topper. Guests should be aware that 5th floor rooms (there are only 2), are a walk up, the elevator stops at 4. Coffee machine needs instructions posted. Very friendly staff!

Very nice boutique hotel in a great area, with many nearby dining options. The room was beautiful, beds comfy and staff were warm and welcoming. A complimentary glass of port was always available. It was quiet at night even though it is in the midst of a busy area. Highly recommend!

A great little hotel near the Alfama district and close to Metro stops, restaurants, etc. My room was on the fifth floor, which meant taking the elevator to 4 and walking the final flight but that was fine. Staff was incredibly friendly and helpful and the breakfast was delicious and abundant. (Staggered breakfast times avoided any overcrowding.) The lighting in my room was a little dim, making it hard to read or work at night, but overall the hotel has a very modern feel and my stay was very satisfying.

It's hard to beat location of this hotel, Alfama, possibly most interesting part of Lisbon, is right there for you to explore. Trams (including famous number 28) are just few meters away. There's handy bus routes to destinations visitors are likely to go like like Belém. Finally, Terreiro do Paço station gives you access to metro network if needed. Being a small boutique hotel service is very personal and good. Breakfast buffet is relatively small but should cater for most people. My personal highlight was scrambled eggs because this was first time I actually enjoyed them from a hotel buffet. If we want to look for things not so good lack of views is one of them - there's no views because this building is in the middle of a block. I was also bit taken back with bathroom because it took lot of effort not to have water all over the floor and outside of the bathroom. If you don't like stairs avoid 5th floor because lifts will only take you to 4th and then there's stairs. Not a problem for us. I'd defintely be happy to stay again in this hotel.

We have previously stayed at a FLH property in Porto and had a delightful stay. We chose FLH Urbano for our Lisbon stay for its location and because we trust we would have a good stay. The best metro station to get to the property we found was Terreiro do Praça. It’s a five minute walk and pretty level. Check in was easy, the lobby has hot and cold drinks and cake for guests. The rooms are clean and stylish. There is a good bathroom with toiletries so if you are on a short stay you just need toothpaste and deodorant. Breakfast is in shifts due to space but we had no problem getting a table for four. There is an excellent selection for breakfast and it’s constantly replenished. I’m a vegetarian and there was plenty of choice. Special mention goes to Feliipe the night concierge who was so helpful, friendly and polite. He is a credit to the hotel. The one negative is other guest’s behaviour sadly which is out of the hotel’s control. Sadly people have no social awareness regardless of the location and time of day. We would gladly stay here again and at any of the FLH properties.
