I walked to all the tourist sites (Rossio, Chiado, Castelo de São Jorge, Alfama and Bairro Alto), the metro and the famous tourist tram 28 are very close. Ramiro Restaurant and other good restaurants nearby. The apartment has an equipped kitchenette, private toilets, big led tv, a dining table, comfortable beds. Daily cleaning and a lot of cafés, restaurants, shops and grocery stores nearby. The neighbourhood is safe, and close to everything- i managed to walk to all the main touristy places! So location is amazing! The owner of the property, Jorge, was very nice and always available for help. The spacious apartment was clean and gave a good impression when opening the door the first time. After some time in the apartment you will see that effort has been put into renovation, but the finish/ workmanship was done practical. The apartment is located in an area with lots of Chinese/ Indian stores, conveniently near the city center and public transport. We loved the proximity to the downtown and the ease of walking to the highlights we wanted to see. Jorge was excellent at communicating with us and very clear details on how to access the property. We arrived early and although our room wasn’t ready, the staff was helpful and allowed us to leave our luggage in the back office until we could access the room. We are a group of 5 travelling together and having 2 washrooms in our unit was very useful. The building and room was very clean. Outside the building on the street is dirty but once you walk down the hill, there’s no issue. Thank you Jorge for the lovely stay!! As far as highlights to see in the city…castle St. George at golden hour is an absolute must!! Breathtaking! Buy your tickets ahead and skip the long line.
