Getting Around: You can almost everywhere on foot. But in the case that you don't feel up to it or you want to go further afield there is great transport system called the BusCas and GiroBus. They are circular routes which take you to all the areas outside of the town centre as well as the out of town shopping mall and cinemas. Otherwise the train will take you to central Lisbon or catch the bus to Sintra from the bus station across the road den the train station. It is perfectly located with the ocean, restaurants, shopping, museums and historic district, etc. all within easy walking distance. In fact, we only used our car for day trips to Sintra and nearby beach towns. We lived on the balcony off the living room, eating most of our meals there, playing cards, reading, and just enjoying the beautiful weather and the views. We used the kitchen a lot and found it very well stocked. Even the kitchen has a beautiful view. We were also extremely pleased with the service provided by Portugal Portfolio staff. They were extremely helpful, and went out of their way to make us feel very welcome in Cascais. ##### Michael G.
