The apartment was lovely but was advertised as a two bedroom two bathroom and was only a one bedroom one bathroom. Also, the back patio door was broken. You couldn’t even close the door and lock it. Had to sleep exposed. The courtyard is pretty secure but nice to be able to close and lock the door. Other then it not being what was advertised and the broken door it was a super cute apartment. Absolutely no communication with property manager who refused to use VRBO messaging site and did not answer any phone calls on six numbers. We spent four days on all means of communication trying to sort out issues that had arisen through no fault of ours We landed at Lisbon with no idea of the address of the apartment and it took numerous WhatsApp messages to get the address and then even more to get the access code. We arrived and the sliding door to the outside area was broken, obviously for some time. We couldn’t close it at night and couldn’t open it enough to go outside. We asked about this and they did say they were waiting for a part. When we messaged that it would have been courteous to have told us, as usual there was no response. C’est l’après qui nous a fait déchanter puisque l’hôte ne nous a pas remboursé la caution de 250€ malgré un appartement laissé nickel à notre départ. Francesca ne répond plus à nos sollicitations et messages depuis notre départ, ne nous donne aucune réponse ni raison valable.
