Excellent location near to Santa Maria Hospital. Staff helped speak to the hospital as no one there spoke English when we needed to know how my brother was after his serious heart surgery.

Many of the people at the property were very professional and welcoming. Especially room service, the manager on duty the afternoon I arrived etc were all very kind and responsive. What made our stay start off on a bad start was when after waiting in the front desk area for 30 minutes to check in, one member of my party discovered his key did not work when we got upstairs. I went into my room and called downstairs to request a key. I was told that this was a hotel meant for holiday and I should remember that. Not to be so excited. I had not raised my voice at all. She seemed to imply that I did and was at a hotel for holiday. I was not there for holiday. It was an emergency. Many times when I have stayed at hotels it has been for funerals, to be near a loved one in difficult health times, etc and this was one of those times. For a hotel operator to tell me to act like I’m on vacation and on holiday just because I’m in their hotel is rude. I have stayed at your hotel before for holiday and I love it, so much that I’ve recommended it for others in Boston. This all was just too much. As we suspected when we went back downstairs it still took an additional 20 minutes to finally get inside the room because of the time going downstairs. Anyway, this left a horrible impression with the two other guests with me who were in two other rooms. I hope to hear from you about a resolution.

Staff are extremely welcoming and helpful. Parking was great and staff were willing to help park and get the car. Location is out of city center but cab ride was inexpensive and staff were quick to get a cab for us.
