Everything was excellent except we did not sleep the first two nights of our stay in Portugal. The noise and partying outside the hotel was horrible. We chose this hotel because Expedia mentioned it was quiet

Did not receive any VIP benefit. The hotel was lovely and very very clean. Great breakfast every day and staff was excellent. Only downside was the room was tiny and I mean tiny!

The room I was provided had a "window" looking out on a fire escape. It could neither be left open nor looked out from, because the window itself had a shutter, and the glass was shaded for privacy. Therefore, I stayed in a room that essentially had no window and was dark and gloomy. Had I known that beforehand, I never would have booked this room--this would have been a dealbreaker. Also, as others mentioned, there was an unpleasant odor, and opening a window was not possible. I can only assume that all the positive reviews were from people staying in rooms other than mine (room 101). I was completely disappointed and needless to say, I would not stay here again.

Air conditioner was not yet turned on, and the room was unbearably hot. We asked them to do something but was told there was nothing they could do since they hadnt turned on the system yet. It was mid march and already in the 80s.

Great hotel with attached restaurant, walking distance to Rossio Square. Staff was very friendly and spoke English, offered helpful information on the area. Room had a small terrace with a nice view of the street
