Ana arranged for our driver from the airport to pick us up, then met us herself outside the flat to show us around. The apartment is located on a quiet little street in the Chiado part of Lisbon, with stellar restaurants only a minute walk away, and a supermarket on the corner. This tasteful flat is spacious and beautifully furnished, quiet and gorgeous, modern and very comfortable with every kitchen appliance you could want. We loved it! Ana showed us how everything worked, and provided us with the most thorough hosting guide we've ever seen of best shops, restaurants, sites, public transportation, emergency contacts, etc -- each with a walking map from the flat -- and manuals for all the systems. The bed was so comfortable, and the heat and air conditioning worked perfectly. We were met the first day at the apartment by Ana with the local Pastel de Nata and a bottle of Port to get our amazing vacation started! The apartment contains a font of helpful information allowing you to visit Lisbon and Portugal in style and experience most of the city's beautiful sites. Ana helped us determine some great locations to visit so as not to miss anything! Ok, it's just window seat but it makes a beautiful veranda on which to sit and drink wine... ##### Robin W. Sep 11, 2022 Liked: Cleanliness, check-in, communication, location, listing accuracy #### Loved my stay in Chiado Perfect apartment and location for a trip to Lisbon that is just a few steps to Largo do Carmo (the local square), Carmo Convent and Santa Just Lift. Several spots are also close by to take in the spectacular view of the city. There is also plenty of shopping and restaurants nearby. I loved my time here and would definitely return again. The apartment was as pretty as it's pictures and more spacious than expected. Bruno was very accommodating and was there to greet us when we arrived and available for questions. Parking garage next door was especially convenient as well. A car was not needed within the city itself, but was used for several short day trips surrounding Lisbon. We spent 3 weeks in this apartment and enjoyed every minute. The apartment has every convenience and is very comfortable. Ana and Bruno were terrific, easy to contact and provided great information on restaurants and other relevant information. Chiado is a great neighbourhood with a wonderful variety of restaurants and easy access to many areas of Lisbon. In addition to the suggestions provided by the hosts, we would suggest breakfast/brunch at Di Marzano, take away from Boa-Bao and drinks and food on Lumi Rooftop Terrace (all in the neighbourhood). From hosts to location to the quality of the apartment. All top notch. This apartment is centrally located with access to abundant transportation options. It has been fully renovated, spacious, well designed and furnished with everything you might need. Unfortunately, we had a health need while in Lisbon and Pedro walked us through the process in person. Staying in Ana & Pedro's beautiful apartment contributed to making our seventeen nights stay in Lisbon absolutely wonderful. Pedro and Ana are professional, gracious and welcoming hosts and take great pride in their city. They respond quickly and effectively to any questions. Pedro greeted us upon arrival and spent over an hour with us describing the apartment and the Chiado district. The port wine and pasteis de Nata was a generous welcoming gesture, very much appreciated. Ana made an effort an on a separate occasion to meet us before we left. The apartment is exactly as pictured--spotless, large & comfortable, renovated, fully stocked kitchen, every convenience imaginable in good working order. It was especially pleasant to have a washing machine, a bathtub, a powerful shower, and a comfortable bed. We truly felt at home. The central location made the main tourist sites easily accessible, many sites within walking distance. The Metro & the Rossio Train station are only minutes away. The Chiado district is upscale and vibrant with an abundance of excellent restaurants, cafes, main shopping districts, and it's close to the waterfront.
