Staying in this apartment is having a complete local and traditional experience. Here, you are within walking distance from all the main places to visit in Lisbon such as Rossio, Chiado, Bairro Alto, the City Castle and its picturesque neighborhood called Alfama. The 120 square meters apartment features 5 bedrooms; it’s on the 2nd floor of a building with a small elevator. There is a living and dining room, 2 complete bathrooms, an equipped kitchen, and plenty of sunlight. No issue with the temperature - there were plenty of fans, and the nights are cooler, but the noise was absolutely ridiculous - and again around 6AM with further cleanup noise. We had two families with small kids staying - and it was so hot, and loud, and bright (from not being able to close the blinds which would prevent airflow) that no one slept the entire trip. People slept on the hardwood floors in the main room to try and stay cool. Great location in Lisbon, but as a result there was constant and incredibly loud noise all night long - given the windows had to be open and blinds up. Nice location but I wouldn’t recommend staying here in the summer, especially with the misrepresented lack of air conditioning. ##### Rob E. It is right in the center of everything with shops and restaurants all around. There is a shop literally downstairs to grab anything you need and a full kitchen to cook if needed. The flat itself fit our party of 9 perfectly. The elevator was very helpful for my elderly father and the stairs were quick and easy for the rest of us.
