Carlos Hotel Manager really made the difference, explained me in detail how to utilise my 1 day stay in Lisbon in full, explained me the places to see on the map and was very articulate in that with tips & tricks... Thank you Carlos once again... Very nice hotel & staff, breakfast could be improved though.

Stayed one night as I was passing through from a North Africa & Barcelona trip. My experience with this hotel was great, I am definitely going back to Lisbon and to this hotel soon. Location is perfect, hop on hop off (YellOw Bus) is around the corner, the blue line is just amazing and you get to ride the trolley free of charge. Area has excellent restaurants, shops, safe and walkable (we struggled a bit with the stone sidewalks moving around with a stroller for our baby). Hotel itself is amazing to say the least, It started with an extremely nice and helpful fella at the from desk (Carlos), then we were surprised that what we got was an apartment not a room, very high end decoration, amazing view and chef quality intercontinental breakfast! They thought of every little detail when they renovated this place! I highly recommend them!

The staff are absolutely wonderful and bent over backwards to helps with our every need. Very polite and friendly. Like going over to a friend's place. The other aspect is the excellent value for the cost. The only real recommended improvement I would suggest would be a bit of a spruce up of the entry of the hotel. I would and probably will go back.

Great hotel
Book it already! This is a great hotel within walking distance of shops, restaurants, and perfect for sightseeing. It also has the softest bed and pillows you’ll find in Lisbon. The staff is very friendly and helpful. I would stay here again. Yes, it’s located at the top of hill but Lisbon is very hilly. Tip: Take the Elevador do Castelo on Rua dos Franqueiros, it’s free and it’ll save you from having to walk uphill

Not only its not got spaces a usual 4 star hotel has, the basics such as bad smell in the bathroom, creaking floor board means you can never get a good sleep if people upstairs are awake, and bathroom towel not changed even you requested - they just fold wet towel up and pretend its new. Reception staffs were friendly but that's the only upside. For this price, it is absolutely disgraceful. Anything Google map reviews reflect what's stated here, I wish I didn't just go with Expedia rating but check on Google.

Great Find
The hotel easy to get to via taxi and is within walking distance to all the major sites... the cathedral, the overlooks, the elevator, the main plaza, etc, but then again we like to walk. The staff are very friendly, and I would highly recommend the breakfast...so many tasty options. We would definitely stay here again.
