We had three couples with our group so it would have been preferable to have had queen beds available for them. We are aware of what was advertised so this is a comment just for your information. There was some difficulty in having timely conversations with the property owner regarding the property address and requesting additional supplies in the unit. The maps and other material in the unit were very helpful. The on-line information did not make it clear that you needed to walk through the upstairs large bedroom to get to the small bedroom. This made things somewhat awkward regarding privacy. Het appartement zelf was ruim, netjes, maar er hing geen fijne geur in de badkamers. De kinderen wilden geen van allen op de grote zolder slapen, dat vonden ze eng. De 3 andere slaapkamers waren ruim maar matig gezellig ingericht. Niet alle deuren sloten goed. En je moet geen moeite hebben met trappen lopen, want je moet 8 trappen op naar dit appartement. ##### Patrick L. Séjour de 3 nuits en août 2025 ### 6/10 – Acceptable #### James W. 30 juill. 2025 #### LOCATION IS EVERYTHING WITH THIS PROPERTY THE PROS:You could not ask for a better location than this when staying in Lisbon.It is steps away from many of the local attractions and in a safe enough neighbourhood.Communication with the owner was good and he spent time on the phone with me to get us into the property at check in.THE CONS:As this building is likely hundreds of years old, you should expect that a property like this is going to be like a 4 or 5 star hotel simply due to the age of structures in the area.This property could be greatly improved by some TLC, most notably with the addition of 4-5 more wall mount A/C Units.We have 4 teenage daughters and the only way to keep comfortable for sleeping was for them to all camp out in the living room as only the master bedroom has an A/C Unit that can keep up with the summer heat. There is a very good A/C Unit in the Living room and an undersized unit in the attic of this unit as well.There are several flights of stairs and no elevator to reach the apartment, and another flight of stairs to reach the second attic floor of the apartment, so anyone with difficulty or inability to use stairs should consider another property or more likely a Hotel in Lisbon.SUMMARY:All in all, this location is as advertised on VRBO. If we were staying in Autumn/Winter/Spring, the lack of Air Conditioning in the bedrooms would have been less of an issue and all of the bedrooms would likely been usable. The location is great and the owner was easy to deal with. ##### James W. The location is excellent, the views are amazing, and the interior is great for a group.
