« We had an amazing week here! John and Sue were wonderful. They were so friendly and generous and let our son pick vegetables from their garden and John even gave us salmon that he caught that morning which made our stay extra special! The location was great because everything we wanted to see and do was only a short drive away. The walk down to the water took less than a minute and it was really nice! The lake was beautiful, the firepit was great to have, and the house was cozy. We felt at home...

« Very nice campsite. Washroom and shower were kept very clean. I would suggest have an area in shower to keep things safe a dry .. since it is a shared area..and a area to hang soap/shampoo/etc. I definitely recommend this place, and I will consider it again in a next trip to the area. »

« Our family (3 generations) stayed in this lovely home while discovering all Sauble Beach has to offer. Once we settled in, it felt like home. Nothing was missing, from cozy living room for rainy day movies, to the perfect dining room for those family meals or board games. The beds were amazingly comfortable! « A luxury cottage that is an ideal family retreat. A short drive down to Sauble made beach days with family and friends easily accessible. Evenings were spent preparing meals in a well appointed kitchen and enjoying the deck and the campfire pit. The home is perfect for large families with comfortable beds and all the mod cons for a carefree and comfortable stay. Communication with the owner was quick and easy. »

« We have stayed at Brent's place twice before and have enjoyed our stay very much every time we've been. Great host and a great property for a family. Our kids especially enjoyed the hot tub and the ability to dine on the deck in the dining pavilion. We look forward to visiting again. »

« Excellent location. Nearby all hotspots in Tobermory. Well managed property, easy checkin/checkout. Kitchen was well equipped with snack, cutlery, dishes etc. Kids enjoyed the piano in living room. The best part of this place was its proximity to singing sands beach, little cover, big tub … all within 5-8 mins of driving distance. It offers good value outing for the family. Not the fanciest cottage experience but overall very good! »

« We are a family of six enjoyed this property over the long weekend. The host is nice and friendly. The place is clean and the wifi is very good. During our stay we enjoyed the BBQ on the patio, the fire pit, and the fully equipped kitchen. Also the location of the house is super convenient to all attractions in the area. »

« We stayed 2 nights at this cottage and it was really nice. The cottage was very clean, spacious, well-equipped and pretty. You can tell the host spent a lot of effort on designing. The host was very friendly and responsive. Our original booking got cancelled last minute but we already on our way. We found this cottage and the host responded to my message quickly and helped us out. It was a really great experience overall, we had lots of fun there! »

« The interiors weren’t clean when we checked in. In fact we left it cleaner than how we got it. So for the money we paid, we were not happy with what we got. We couldn’t get to enjoy some of the features advertised. The grill for example was extremely dirty and not fit for use at all. The listing doesn’t mention that the pool isn’t available in late May. The fire pit was the only feature we enjoyed but again we weren’t told that we had to get our own firewood. So overall, for the money we paid we...

« This is a lovely area of Tobermory that is off the beaten path. A short walk takes you to a stunning lakeside area with beautiful vistas and crashing waves. Unfortunately, the hot tub was not working properly so could not be used and the remotes for the master tv and fireplace could not be found. These were the biggest disappointments. The cottage is located close to several parks where we spent most of our time exploring and taking in breath taking scenerey. Star gazing was incredible. »

« A book by the water. Waves to lull you to sleep. All in a quiet, friendly, happy~dog-walking neighborhood. Kayaking over crystal blue waters. A short distance to groceries. Not much in the area for “foodies”, so plan to cook for yourselves if cuisine is important to your visit. »

« All I have to say is…WOW!!! This was 5-star experience from start to finish for my husband and our extended family. The photos truly don’t do it justice. The property was immaculately cleaned. It even passed my Mother-In-Law’s litmus test which is to look inside the kitchen drawers to see if they are clean…they were! The rooms are very spacious, the Chef’s Kitchen is unreal, and experience also transends to the outside of the residence... the bonfire lounge, upper and lower-decks, basketball...
