The house is even better than the photos. (It is larger than what it looks like.). Spacious open living, dining, kitchen area with high ceilings. The kitchen feels brand new, excellent appliances, and fully stocked. Everything you need! And the beds were comfortable. (One room King, one room Queen, and one with two singles, great for a gathering.)And the location is peaceful and quiet. The house itself is surrounded by green and the shore is walking distance down the road. A short drive to Bayside and a dock for swimming from.Location also excellent with much nearby: Camden for a hike, Belfast for walking around town, and Bayside for an amazing kayak (rentals right there).Finally, the host was incredibly responsive! When contacted, we were advised that she just changed the batteries...she was not readily available; her contact was 1 hr away...This tells me she knew the unit was not working properly; yet, we are supposed to sleep soundly in a house that we know it's not the battery...could be gas fumes/CM or simply malfunctioning unit in the house with a constant beep? The house had a lovely homely feel and was very well stocked, particularly in the kitchen (above and beyond many other rentals we have previously stayed at). Beds were also very comfortable.
