The location is excellent. The host was welcoming and responsive. We stayed in the fall and it was perfect. We had an overcast day and used the pool which is a huge perk. The property is clean and well stocked, although could use a set of steak knives, but not a big deal. The heating/cooling system takes getting used to with redundant systems. There is a gas grill out back(not listed) that does not work properly. I have been vacationing at private rentals for over 20 years now (I gave up hotels), and usually they have all the necessities stocked, like cookware and occasionally you need to run out and grab something. These owners have done the best job of making sure you have everything you need, they even had a lot of fresh food and snacks for us! They go above and beyond. The house is about 45 mins to both Story Land and Santa’s Village which worked well for our trip. The town of Lincoln had lots of stores and restaurants.
