Bed comfortable and excellent location. Outside facilities poorly maintained. Cigarette butts all over the "smoking area", entrance planters had cut of birch tree branches, arrow buttons in elevator damaged, room itself had drill holes in the wall in several places (including shower), bathroom tile grout broken or missing, damaged drywall next to the tub, water stains behind the toilet, bathroom facet sprayed water all over. Although staff was friendly at check in we couldn't be told if we had a handicap room without a wheelchair accessible shower (room not handicap), no explanation as to breakfast hours or wifi.

Still a good hotel, but needs renovation!
We've stayed at this hotel several times over the years for visits to the Lincoln area because of the comfort and value. Unfortunately our visit this time was disappointing. There was not enough help at the front desk for check in and the building was starting to show signs of wear and tear. We were missing a drape in our room and the air conditioner didn't seem to keep the room a consistent temperature. We have enjoyed this hotel for a very long time, so we're hoping a renovation is in the plans!

Overall property is good, staff was very nice. There were some areas that need updating, some cracks on ceiling, unfinished putty repairs in bathroom. Just a little unsightly, but the beds, room and breakfast were good.

Toilet broke and could not open door with room key. Key actually was James in door for a while. The Saturday night Desk was the bright spot she solved the door problem and was very good.

Housekeeping and front desk employees are STELLAR! This hotel was perfect for a two night stay in Lincoln. Left my wedding ring in the room—called and got it returned.
