You can enjoy a thriving city centre with many shops, boutiques, restaurants, bars and tearooms; at Brayford Wharf you can dine whilst watching the boats float by or walk up the well-known Steep Hill into The Bailgate and castle area. Lincoln Cathedral and Castle are worth a day out exploring, and the castle hosts many events throughout the year with the famous Lincoln Christmas Market, Steampunk Festival as well as the annual cycling Grand Prix. If you’re looking to travel a little further, why not visit The Bomber Command, which is only 2 miles away!  
  
For a day out, Newark Showground is a short drive away with its regular international Antique Fairs, and Market Rasen Racecourse and the Lincolnshire Wolds are approximately 30 minutes’ away. #### Perfectly located.

Perfectly located. Well equipped and spotlessly clean. Museum and Usher Gallery 2 minutes walk, Castle and Cathedral 5 minutes up Steep Hill (clue in the name!). Plenty of restaurants and cafes, supermarket 3 minutes walk, lots of interesting shops in old town.

#### Fantastic accommodation in a perfect location 

Brilliant accommodation, exceedingly well thought out and comfortable. Everything you could need if you wish to stay in and cook, with plenty of comfortable seating for both eating and lounging around. Nice comfortable beds and a lovely shower. If the weather is good lovely outdoor seating areas to enjoy a drink of an evening. Brilliant location, just a quick stroll into the centre of town with various pubs and restaurants virtually on your doorstep. And having a dedicated parking space just behind the property is an additional bonus. Great place as a base to explore both Lincoln and the surrounding areas would definitely book again when we return.

#### A gem of a find.

The location of this immaculate property was perfect. Step out of the front door (on Steep Hill) and you are right in the centre of all the tourist attractions. The designated parking space was a must have in this historical city. There was a welcome pack waiting for us which was most appreciated. The property was extremely comfortable and had everything that we could wish for in it. Even though it was quite central we found it very peaceful and were not disturbed in the night at all. Contact from the owner Jill was excellent. We wish we could have stayed longer. Besides the obvious Lincoln Cathedral and Castle to see the International Bomber Command Centre is a must visit in our opinion. Allow a good 4 hours. It is very thought provoking and has some wonderful views. It was the highlight of our visit.
