"Perfect place for a weekend away. The house is beautifully decorated, with unique touches and personal craftsmanship. We found it cozy, inviting and with fantastic amenities. And then once the record player was discovered, along with the DOUBLE Journey album, well the vibes were flowing. 5/5, highly recommend."

"We had a wonderful relaxing girls weekend in this lovely home in the country. Check in is super easy. Brian, the owner, is very communicative and easy to reach. This charming old home was just the spot for us to relax and get together with friends. The kitchen is spacious. Beds are very comfortable. The view from the porch is spectacular at sunset. We loved visiting the little horses every evening. Location is just minutes from several wineries and Makanda for shopping. We will definitely be back!"

"This was the most beautiful cabin tucked away on private property in the Shawnee forest. We had the most peaceful weekend. Property is just as listed, beautifully decorated, and owners were so kind and responsive! "

"An exceptional stay in a unique inn! Lyle and Tammy were perfect hosts, and those breakfasts! Lyle cleared chairs from the gym (yes, there's an air-conditioned school gym) so that we could shoot hoops. We were upgraded at no extra cost to the gold suite from the yellow so that another party could have two beds. The yellow room would have been more than fine, but the gold was spectacular. Sadly, we arrived during a terrible heat wave. We still went on several morning hikes, including to the Pomona Natural Bridge, and in Giant City State Park. There will be much more to see and enjoy when we return."
