LOVE staying at the D Sands!! Been going there for at least 39 years! The oceanfront view and location is great!! Love having a fireplace in the room. Also love having a full sized kitchen and a full sized refrigerator and freezer. Plus, having the spare bedroom is great. The bed in the living room was comfy and nice to have the ocean view from it. The room was quiet, you couldn't hear your neighbors, but, some HWY 101 traffic noise was to be expected. It was nice to have, and easy to use, the keyless entry. The only reason my rating wasn't 5 Stars is because there was a large, cracked, rusted stain in the bathroom sink and we couldn't get the regular cable channels (CNN, ESPN, etc.) and the local channels to work. There needs to be instructions left on the coffee table for which remote control to use and how to switch between the Live TV, Cable TV, Local Channels, etc. Also, need a list of what the channel numbers are for CNN, ESPN, etc. We could only get some strange “IP” channels, like 6 different ABC channels (Sacramento affiliate, etc.) to work briefly after much flipping around with the remotes. With those strange “IP” channels, you literally had to scroll through 800 channels, with no “search” screen to jump directly to a channel. ##### Sharon W.
