Summary: 'Otter Space' is what we call this large, family-friendly oceanfront condo. It can sleep up to seven people by way of a king bed, a queen bed, a sleeper sofa and a rollaway, has two full bathrooms and a full modern kitchen. This isn't a hotel room, this is a home! The beach access is literally right out the oceanside window. If the weather is stormy, stay inside and watch the waves from the amazing view of the oceanside suite. Don't forget about our indoor heated saltwater pool and dry sauna! The Space: We call Unit 208 “Otter Space,” not only because it’s otter this world, but because it’s one of the largest condos in our rental pool. At 824 square feet, this is one of the Sea Gypsy’s special Family Suites. It has the second largest floor plan in the building and sleeps up to seven vacationers. The master bedroom features a king bed and a sleeper chair, while the oceanside living area includes a queen bed and a queen hide-a-bed. We recommend children only for the hide-a-bed. Otter Space is perfect for a party of 4 adults and 3 kids. A larger-than-life kitchen holds a different layout than most units here at the Sea Gypsy. It features a range oven, cooktop, fridge, microwave and plenty of dishes and cookware. The additional pantry space and cupboards make this one of the best units to reserve if you plan to do a lot of home cooking. No. 208 “Otter Space” has so much extra space there is room for a full-sized dining room table, coffee table, a reclining chair and a desk for that member of your family who had to bring his work on vacation. Because “Otter Space” is a Family Suite, you have the largest set of oceanfront windows in the building, too. No. 208 can sleep 7 adults, although with the hide-a-bed and cot we recommend it for parties of 4 adults and 3 kids, or even parties of 2 adults and 5 kids. Guest Access: The condo comes with a unique code which will get you entry into your unit. There you will find a key that will grant you access to our indoor, heated salt water pool and dry sauna. This is a 2nd floor unit, there are 16 steps required to access the unit. The Neighborhood: 208 Otter Space Getting Around: Enhance your Lincoln City experience by utilizing our local transit options! You can now schedule convenient pickups directly with Intercity Transit by calling them. Whether you're planning a trip to the beach, shopping areas, or local attractions, this service ensures a seamless and enjoyable exploration of our coastal town. Other Things to Note: This is a condo in a shared complex, and it's worth noting that from time to time, you might hear everyday sounds coming from neighboring units and common areas within the facility. There are three gas grills on site available for guest use. They are located next to our sparkling pool. The condo comes with a limited supply of complimentary coffee, sugar, and creamer. Interaction with Guests: Sea Gypsy Rentals manages more than 59 privately owned beachfront condos. We have a rental office on the property that is open no less than 8 hours a day. The unit was surprisingly large and the view can’t be beat! We spent hours enjoying the ocean in all of its moods - right from the comfort of the living room! This unit is very well stocked with everything we needed for a fabulous stay! Everything was really good quality and just perfect! The Sea Gypsy staff was also very friendly and helpful on the one occasion that we needed to reach out to them. The only thing to be aware of is that it is an older building, so we could certainly tell when renters arrived upstairs! But even that was minor. Oh - and the toilet “flush lever” sticks so we there were several trips back to “unstick” it so that the toilet would stop running. But seriously, that was the only complaint for the whole trip! The owners were a pleasure to deal with . The one criticism we had with the place is that we received a email the night before encouraging us to do a late check in due to the cleaning staff being behind . They said there was a good possibility the unit would not be ready at the agreed upon check in time . This does not work well for a family of 5 that’s been in the car all day . We have two properties we short term rent on VRBO. We are having the same staffing issues and turn over problems. We would never make this our guest problem. We even had to start blocking a day between guest to insure the units would be ready for the next guest. The room itself is big and cozy. We didn’t use the TVs at all, we loved the table by the window, perfect for puzzles, good drinks and enjoying the ocean view. The unit was overall clean but they mention more in depth cleaning due to covid and their were handprints on the windows and some hair on the bathroom floor, which in my opinion is basic cleaning between clients. Overall though I would go again, my friends who had never been both said they would love to return with their families! ##### Jenni L.
