Summary: 'Ahoy Story' is what we call this family-friendly oceanfront condo. It can sleep up to five people by way of a queen size bed, a foldable futon, and a sleeper sofa, has two full bathrooms and a full kitchen. This isn't a hotel room, this is a home! If the weather is stormy, stay inside, play some games and watch the waves from the amazing view of the oceanside suite. Don't forget about our indoor heated saltwater pool and dry sauna! The Space: Welcome to "Ahoy Story," a second-floor condo at the Sea Gypsy with unbelievable views of the coastline. This space comfortably sleeps 5 vacationers with some of the best beach access you'll find anywhere. The condo hugs the coastline, and is near the shortest of three beach access points in front the Sea Gypsy. What makes our place famous is the unbeatable beach access and the living arrangements. This isn't a box with four walls. It's a condominium with two separate sleeping areas, a full kitchen and two private bathrooms. Ahoy Story, also known as Sea Gypsy No. 202, was completely remodeled recently. Everything is new: the carpet, the kitchen cabinets, the bathroom tubs and all the appliances. No. 202 "Ahoy Story" is one of the few Sea Gypsy condos that sleeps five. The bedroom features a queen bed and a foldable futon. Guests are always giving us feedback about how much they loved the softness of the queen. The oceanfront living room features a queen sofa-bed as well. If there's a Julia Child in your party, she'll love the full kitchen. The owners have spared no details. Of course, it has an oven, fridge, microwave and dishwasher. The owners of the condo have made sure you have just about everything you need to make an extravagant meal. They stay in their unit often, and want you to consider it home as much as they do. This unit is at the north end of the facility. The stairs to the beach nearest "Ahoy Story" are only six short steps from the sand. From there, you can walk north 10-15 minutes to natural tide pools, where you can observe starfish, hermit crabs, sea urchins and plenty of other surprises. Just to the south of the Sea Gypsy is the famous D River, the shortest river in the world. The water here is ankle-deep, which offers your little ones a safe place to play. If you're not so much into outdoor wading, try the Sea Gypsy's heated, indoor saltwater pool. There's a sauna in there, too. Guest Access: The condo comes with a unique code which will get you entry into your unit. There you will find a key that will grant you access to our indoor, heated salt water pool and dry sauna. This is a 2nd floor unit, there are 16 steps required to access the unit. The Neighborhood: 202 Ahoy Story Getting Around: Enhance your Lincoln City experience by utilizing our local transit options! You can now schedule convenient pickups directly with Intercity Transit by calling them. Whether you're planning a trip to the beach, shopping areas, or local attractions, this service ensures a seamless and enjoyable exploration of our coastal town. Other Things to Note: This is a condo in a shared complex, and it's worth noting that from time to time, you might hear everyday sounds coming from neighboring units and common areas within the facility. There are three gas grills on site available for guest use. They are located next to our sparkling pool. The condo comes with a limited supply of complimentary coffee, sugar, and creamer. Interaction with Guests: Sea Gypsy Rentals manages more than 59 privately owned beachfront condos. We have a rental office on the property that is open no less than 8 hours a day. The location is outstanding—right on the beach with breathtaking sunsets, and just a short five-minute drive to shopping and local attractions. Parking was easy and close to the unit, which made unloading luggage simple. The condo was well-equipped with everything we needed to cook meals for our family, and having on-site laundry was a convenient bonus.The building itself is older, so some noise from neighboring units was noticeable. The primary bed felt a bit unstable, and the showers could have been cleaner. That said, the condo was overall comfortable and functional, and we had a great experience. The views were phenomenal. I loved that it was right next to the D River. The condo was very nice, well decorated and 99.9% clean (found a couple of random things on the floor like a pen or puzzle piece). There were beach toys, games, pool noodles and other nice additions to the room. The kitchen was well stocked with things you would need to cook. We liked just about everything about this condo and location is wonderful - central to everything in Lincoln City! The only drawbacks: We were on 2nd level and the noise is a bit annoying at times, especially night. You can hear everything above you and you can hear people walking and talking outside your room. I had a sound machine so my daughter still slept soundly. The other drawback was the wifi was not super great, but we didn't use it much anyway. Also, the pool is NOT heated. The first time we went in it was really cold, and the maintenance guy showed up quickly to heat it up for us. The second time it was warmer, but still not 'heated'. The lobby said that it is like an HOA and they have to wait for the maintenance man to show up. We still swam and had fun, but it would've been more enjoyable if it was warmer. Everything else was wonderful and we would still stay there again, even with these few small things. Looking forward to the next stay! ##### Neva G. The condo is in good condition and has a beach flare to it. The building is old on the outside but new on the inside. This means the walls are not as sound prof as a newer building. In the bedroom there was a bit of noise from the neighbors and people outside so we slept on the sofa bed in the living room and it was much better. ##### Jeremy W. Was an easy process from beginning to end. Not the most sound proof, but wasn’t bothersome at all. All the kids above us were active. Lol. From the exterior the Sea Gypsy didn't look special, but our room was super clean and modern. What makes this a do again for us is the location- steps from the beach and SPECTACULAR views.
