The main Bed was comfortable, bunk was good, accept you couldn't sit up and read. Catered for children, with high chair and some toys. Great for young families. But we are an older couple, and we found the stairway a killer. And to top it off the bathroom was down stairs. We had to take one step at a time and there is no hand rail, which made it very difficult for us with bad knees. That was a minor problem for us. We needed a break and our time at Lima South gave us that in heaps! We loved the rustic charm, the incredible views over the farm looking one way and the bbq pit the other way. We could walk to Lake Nillicoorte and it was a shortish drive into Benalla to explore the fantastic art gallery. It was a great base to explore the NE silo art trail and the Winton wetlands. Very comfortable bed, a large living area and well equipped kitchen (although providing some oil would be helpful). Apart from that we had everything we needed for a restful stay. Amazing views topped off with an huge fire pit out the front 🙌 The lake is right across the road, you can walk or drive it which is a 2 minutes drive to put the boat in. Very much enjoyed this place for a good get away! Im from the country and I enjoyed it but my friends are from Melbourne and they loved it!
