It was especially noisy during the night due to all the air conditioning units outside (ours wasn’t on) . The swimming pool, although a reasonable size, seem to cater for outside parties and day guests . This was a shame especially as and I found myself hunting for a chair, then losing it when i went for a swim! I booked a room for a friend who was arriving in the evening to Lilongwe so paid through Expedia so he could just arrive and rest but upon arriving at the hotel the hotel did not have his name on the system and he had to wait a long time and then he was given a sub standard room which he accepted because it was late at night so their booking system needs to be updated to a better system so that they have people's bookings on their computer to avoid these unnecessary delays when guests arrive . The food, service and cleanliness were very good. Sadly the lack of care and attention to bathroom details let this hotel down. Maintenance is required in most bathrooms. Showers don't work properly and toilets leak. If you book a double room for 2 people you have to ring house keeping in order to get a second set of towels.
