This newly air conditioned home is just 2-miles to Kalapaki Beach, Dukes Canoe Club, and many other shops and restaurants! Learn to surf, stand up paddle, kayak and swim at this nearby popular beach. Beach rentals available on beautiful Kalapaki Beach. Nearby attractions are the Menehune (Alekoko) Fishpond, Grove Farm Homestead (80 acres plantation home of George N. Wilcox), Nawiliwili Harbor (watch the cruise ships come in and out of the harbor), Kaua'i Museum (learn Kauai's rich history), and of course right out your front door launch a kayak off of the Hueli'a River to the Huleia National Wildlife Refuge. Experience Kauai's raw beauty as you meander through thick forest growth which was used in the opening scenes of the "Raiders of the Lost Ark".

Located across of the Kaiola Canoe Club. This is NOT a Resort area and you will be staying in a local residential area. This home is perfect for the laidback traveler looking for a clean and comfortable place to call "home" while exploring the island of Kaua'i. This is a non-smoking home and property.

Charming 1,260 square ft. country 3+bedroom, 2-bath Kaua'i vacation rental home tucked away in the small community of Niumalu with spectacular views of the Ha'upu Mountain Range, Hulei'a River and “peek a boo” ocean view looking across the Nawiliwili Harbor and Hule`ia River. Na Hoa Hale is just 8-minutes from Lihue Airport, five minutes to Kalapaki Beach, close to grocery stores, Costco and Kukui Grove Shopping Center.

Comfortably furnished, this Kaua'i vacation home sleeps 6 with a king bed in primary bedroom with bath, queen bed in 2nd bedroom and a queen bed in third bedroom. There is a second full bathroom in hallway.

Outdoor lanai provided for evening meals. Waterfalls abound during the winter season. Gas BBQ in your front yard and a fully equipped kitchen allows you to have a "home away from home" feel at the Nahoa Hale. TV, complimentary WiFi, gas BBQ grill and washer/dryer complete all of your needs. Beach Gear provided includes: Beach towels, chairs, umbrella, cooler.

Absolutely loved the house! Everything you could need all in one place! Wish the bridge was open - would have made getting around quicker, but didn't disrupt our stay at all. Mornings on the lanai were the best!

Relaxing Kauai Escape – Ideal for Exploring, Unwinding, and Making Memories

We had a wonderful stay at this beautiful property on the island of Kauai! The home was spotless, spacious, and had everything we needed for a comfortable and relaxing vacation with our adult children. We especially loved the peaceful atmosphere and the gorgeous deck — perfect for enjoying morning coffee or winding down in the evening.The house was very well-equipped, with thoughtful amenities like beach chairs, a cooler, and snorkel gear that made exploring the island even easier. The kitchen had everything we needed to prepare meals, and the overall accommodations were cozy and inviting.One thing we really appreciated was the location — it’s extremely convenient to the airport, shopping, and other necessities, yet it feels wonderfully remote and quiet. It was the best of both worlds.A highlight of our trip was a sunset cruise of the Nā Pali Coast with Holo Holo Charters — an unforgettable experience that gave us a view of the island we couldn’t have seen any other way. The crew was professional and the scenery was breathtaking.Highly recommend this rental for anyone looking for a peaceful, well-appointed place to stay while discovering the magic of Kaua'i.

Nice Home for a stay on Kauai

We enjoyed our stay at Na Hoa River Home. The rooms were clean, and nearly everything met our expectations. If we had to find something to criticize, it would be the barbecue. It was located downstairs without any terrace nearby. Unfortunately, an uncomplicated barbecue was not possible. But that's complaining at a high level.

Beautifully decorated well stocked home, wide open kitchen & living room, great amenities. Washer & dryer and A/C in every room was a real plus. Close to town & shops. A real shame trees too overgrown to really see the water from the balcony, would have been nice to enjoy. Homeless nearby never bother. Overall pleasant stay

Great Place and Location for our Family

We recently stayed at the Na Hoa River home and it was a perfect place for our 'Ohana. We recently lost our home in the Lahaina Wildfire and needed to get off Maui to relax and clear our minds. The Na Hoa Home was spacious and the A/C was wonderful. It is a little outdated but we didn't mind. There was a enough room in the carport for 2 cars. The residence came with extra beach towels and bedding for our kids to sleep on the couch. Garden Island Properties was great to work with and even provided arrival amenities and groceries for us to enjoy during our stay. We highly recommend the residence for families wanting to explore the entire island. It's a great central location!

Great Stay

House was perfect for my family of 6. Loved getting to sit out on the porch in the morning with coffee. The lack of AC in the third bedroom wasn’t too bad, but def kept our doors all open so the air could circulate. There is a harbor across the way that works most of the day, but was quiet by afternoon/evening and didn’t bother us. There was also a canoeing club and groups of homeless that frequent the area, but also never bothered us. View of the mountains next to the house is fantastic and it’s close to Wailua and Poipu, where we spent most of our time. Overall, great stay and would do it again.

Perfect rental.

This house suited us so well. We were attending a family wedding Th house was near our relatives house. The house was clean, extremely well equipped and very comfortable .I would recommend this property to anyone. A perfect rental with Air Conditioning, which you need in Hawaii.

Nice house well stocked with everyday items, felt like home.

Overall the house was enjoyable. The only issues were the amount of trash that would get blown in from across the street from the homeless camps. The homeless didn’t bother us mostly other than one issue where a lady living out of her car parked right on the grass outside the gate. She would stare us down when we left so that made me a little worried about our personal stuff in the home. There was a stray cat that would greet us everyday on the steps. hopefully the cat finds a home. We enjoyed our stay there and it was like our home away from home.

Nice but...

The house is clean, accommodating and well equipped. Everyone had a great time inside the house. The issue is the area directly across the street. People partying all night long, barking dogs and garbage everywhere. They are not canoe club members. There was no interaction with the people but who wants to walk out of their rental and see garbage everywhere. If that situation is resolved it is a great rental.

Great place!

The house was very nice!, centrally located, nice view. Garden Island properties is very accommodating! The house is stocked with beach gear too! Definitely bring good ear plugs because the local roosters will wake you up. Also the 3rd bedroom is a bit warm, it’s the only one without an AC unit. The people across the street were quiet, not a problem at all. Overall great stay!
