The gal at the front desk was amazing. There was a smell that didnt go away and the bathroom was very tiny. There weren't any clean towels left for swimming so we had to use our room towels but they were booked out so I suppose that makes sense. Overall the kids loved the pool & hot tub, it's a great motel in the middle of the mountains. We would stay here again!

When we checked in, we were informed that pool and hot tub were closed. Bummer, since that's why we booked it. Restraunt was also closed even though was advertised online to be open until 8 pm. Were told (with attitude) that since we booked with Expedia that no refund was possible. We were given wrong keys to begin with. The room wall heater was off when we arrived on a 20 degree evening and only blew warm air. Not trying to be picky, but you can't make this stuff up. On a positive note, breakfast in the Restraunt was awesome in regards to service, atmosphere, good food and great prices.

Steve, first, I would like to thank you for your great review of our restaurant, we appreciate that you enjoyed our service, atmosphere, food, and great prices. I have requested Expedia several times to please correct our restaurant hours, hopefully, this time they will comply. You have our sincere apologies for our hot tub and pool being closed during your stay with us. It's a state law that our pool and hot tub meet certain criteria for our guests to be able to swim in it, thus due to a large party of swimmers the night before the pool and hot tub needed to be drained, cleaned, and the water replaced. This takes 24 to 48 hours in total, so maintenance closed the pool area on Saturday and reopened it on Sunday. We also are sorry about your experience with the front desk, and we will make sure to address your feelings about your conversation with her. We do sincerely hope that having the front desk move you to another room worked out for you and that the new room had no issues. We did have our maintenance manager go through and fix the door lock and turn the heater up to a higher heat, as we keep it down on low when the room is not in use.

Not many options in Libby, but this is perhaps the best. Free bottled water is great. The property is dated a bit but I’ll take that rocking recliner chair over pretty uncomfortable hotel chairs all day long.

Beyond Superb Venture Inn
1st part of journey was lodging at the Venture Inn V I. V I is beyond superb. Hot tub was fantastic. Staff was beautiful and brilliant. Breakfast, upstairs restaurant, was top shelf. Would be delighted to lodge here, again.

Very clean! Comfy beds!

Art work spectacular and cleanliness impeccable!
There was confusion about finding our room because there was no room number indicated on the keys or written on the diagram. The diagram was not easy to follow. I had to go back and ask the room number. The next day we had someone try a key in our lock.....when I looked out in the hall, they said they were having the same problem finding their room. The desk people should write the room number on the diagram. Also, there was a blasting outdoor light that penetrated past the darkening curtains (around the edges). Also, someone knocked on our door after dark and wouldn't respond to my question who is this or who are you looking for? Not the hotel's fault, but still scary. Otherwise, we really enjoyed the courtesy of the workers, the art work, and the spectacular cleanliness of the room even though we stayed two nights in a row; they gave us all clean new linens!

We do not put the number on the keys for security reasons, however, the front desk is supposed to write the room number on your diagram of where to find your room that is given to all the guests at check-in. The room we had was an inside room with windows opening on the indoor pool. Yuck, no privacy or outside air! The room was musty smelling and the non-functioning bathroom fan added to that! The bathroom door was swollen and would not close all the way. The room had two tables which made it handy to have the lap top set on one. The power strip was handy to have on the dresser. The furnishings are bite tired.

I don't think there are any new hotels in Libby. This one, while slightly dated, works hard to be clean and friendly. It does have a very nice restaurant in the building. Food was great. Probably the best hotel in town. Rates were good.

Our carpet was humping up in several spots. The blankets were dirty. The 2nd day I tried to use the hot tub the jets were turned off. I wanted a hotel I could recommend to family as I am moving there. Only highlights, lobby and room service.

Jason, We apologize for your room issues. Please anytime you have a problem with your room or anything else while staying with us feel free to talk with the front desk. Please let them know about any bedding issues as the cleaning staff is supposed to change them every day unless the room has a do not disturb hanger on the door. Also as far as the jets being turned off in the hottub talk with the front desk as they may be able to solve this problem right away for you. It's usually someone hitting the off button while playing in the hot tub. We are delighted that you liked our lobby and room service. Hopefully, you will give us another chance.

Barney, our hotel was built in the 70s so yes we are a little dated, however, the owner has updated the entranceway and desk area. We are working on the individual rooms where we have updated the beds and some of the furnishings. We apologize for the ants as the current sweltering conditions in our area, as well as, people spilling pop and dropping food around the hotel seem to have brought sugar ants to our building. This is not something that we usually have an issue with so we have been working every day to exterminate them from around and inside our hotel. Again, we apologise

While an older hotel, it was kept in pretty good condition. Our room was larger than your average hotel room with a sink in the bathroom and a sink in the sleeping area. The hotel is decorated nicely with a convenient restaurant on site. We enjoyed a dinner and breakfast there. We would stay there again if ever in the area.

The restaurant staff was not very accommodating. The famous salad bar as advertised was not even open. 2 other requested items on the menu were not available. Breakfast menu blueberry pancakes. We asked is this pancakes with blueberries in them. The response was yes. They came plain pancakes with blueberry compote on top. As far as the hotel itself it was awesome and so was the staff. We will stay there again. We will just dine elsewhere.

Don, I apologize for our restaurant staff not being accommodating and will make sure the kitchen manager is informed. We just recently closed our salad bar and are revamping our menu. I have not made the necessary changes to our online menu and that is my error, so I will work on that immediately. I was the one that you spoke to about this issue. We were not aware there was a leak until you came to the front desk. We apologized to you, than immediately closed the room and followed up on getting the leak fixed.
