We had a pleasant stay in this home. It was well stocked and clean. The cabin is old and comes with all the quirks that an old home brings. The beds were comfortable. The loft was a little difficult for a tall adult to get up and down from. The heating is uneven, so it stays much colder in the downstairs and bathroom. As noted the stairs leading to the house are very rough and make for a challenge carrying suitcases. All of this is noted for knowledge, not a complaint. The living area is so comfortable and the decor and books right up my alley. The bed and linens as well as pillows were so comfy and I slept great! Nice and neat kitchen and bath. A few suggestions I have would be to just add a railing up the stone steps from the street. I knew about them but with luggage and food bags it’s very difficult to walk up and down only touching a tree stump or rock here and there. Also the cabin did not smell fresh.
