The breakfast has a long period from 7 am to 10 am, which is what I really like.

All was well except our toilet wouldn't flush. When we alerted the the front desk they said the maintenance staff was getting ready to clock out. When I jokingly said we could just use the restroom in the lobby they said sure and that's what we had to do.

Refrigerator was not working in room. Left messages for management who were not on property for six days and have yet to reply. DND sign was ignored and service knocked on door early even after I asked the come after I checked out. Will not be staying at Marriott anymore.

We had a great stay. Perfect place to stay to attend activities at the University of Kentucky. Very friendly staff at the hotel. Room was very clean and nicely decorated.

This was one of my worst stays ever. We were given the room on the second floor directly above the lobby entrance and it was the first room you reach as soon as you exited the elevator (Room 218). We stayed there on a Thursday night so the hotel was not full so they could have put us anywhere else. I believe when you book through Expedia they give you the worst room possible sometimes. All night long you could hear the music from the lobby playing below. As the guest came in and out of the doors you can hear them talking outside as the smoked and checked in. As people came upstairs you can hear them exiting the elevator and walking down the hall. Initially we didn’t think the room would be a problem. It wasn’t until everyone was in bed and trying to sleep that the noise was very noticeable. We had an early morning and needless to say we didn’t sleep well at all. I didn’t want to drag the kids out of bed and have them pack up at 1:30 am so we tried to bear it. We checked out the next day.
Besides that, the room was clean except for the pull out bed. It’s had dirt and crumbs all over it from the previous person that had the room. We had to ask for a vacuum to get it up so my daughter can lye down. The breakfast was ok. Waffles, eggs, sausage and pastry. But there’s a Waffles House was right next door if you wanted something else.

Very convenient to anything you would need, food or otherwise. If I were to nit pick, the fire alarm went off at 4 am. I can't blame the hotel for that, and the fire alarms work so, YAY for safety! I would recommend this hotel to anyone.

Alarms but no fire
There was a group on the same floor as us that stomped & screamed up & down the hall from about 2:30 a.m. until they set off the fire alarm around 4 a.m. The alarm went off for easily over a half an hour so, 4-4:30 a.m. lights flashed & sirens screamed in every room of the hotel. There was no fire just too much partying on the 2nd floor. My family was only there one night as a stop on a much longer adventure & we paid entirely too much for such a terrible experience. Also the breakfast there was worse than most half ass hotel breakfasts. We could've got a better nights rest & better morning boost sleeping in the car & we have a small car.

This is my favorite place to stay in Lexington. It's in a great location, a safe neighborhood, there's plenty of dining options within walking distance, and it's a very clean hotel.
