We booked a 2 bedroom suite so that we could host a Christmas celebration and it was perfect! The building is immaculate, the kitchen comes with pretty much all you'd need, and the breakfast buffet is very good. We will return!

We have stayed here a couple of times because of the value for the price. We recently stayed in one during a family visit and having private bedrooms, each with a bathroom, a full kitchen and living room felt decadent without a massive price tag. The surrounding area is quiet but close to anything you need.

I enjoyed my stay at this facility. The hotel is clean and located in a desirable area. The reason why I'm giving 4 stars is because I had prepaid for the room days prior to my arrival through Expedia. I was ask to provide a card for incidentals. Upon check out, my card was charged for the price of the room. I wasn't aware I had been charged until after my flight landed. How did this happen and why did Sean charge my credit card? I could not get this rectified on their end so I had to dispute the charge with my credit card company. The hotel should have handled this from their end and credited back my money.

My room was not available to me even though I had booking protection. I was informed the room was not available 2 hours before check-in. I was set up in another hotel. I had less bathrooms and space then I reserved and needed. We were cramped with no privacy. I complained to the hotel I was staying at about what was made available to me and they did nothing to help me out. The hotel I was provided was 20 minutes away. This added travel time to my trip, fuel expense. Will not use booking service again.

Perfect overnight stay.
This was a perfect overnight stay for my wife and I, en route to Florida. Great service, big clean room, and very dog friendly! We have already booked here again for our trip back!

This place was neat clean and perfectly appointed. I loved the room and the bed was cozy and fluffy. The showers were very nice and spacious. We will definitely be back.

This is one of the nicer Residents Inn properties because of the people who work there. Especially the cleaning staff. We have stayed there many times and will definitely be back.

The studio suite layout is very nice. The facility is quite new and clean. Really enjoyed the closeness to shopping and dining. We plan to stay there again.

I’ve stayed at this property many times over the years. It seems to be having a rough patch. Missing TV’s, holes in the carpet, and stained couches are not what I’m used to. The beds seem harder and the pillows are not supportive. It was not the most comfortable stay. I will say they did give me a discount due to my issues, but shouldn’t you tell people upfront you’re missing a tv? Some staff are great. Others are a bit standoffish.

Comparing this to an amazing Residence Inn we stayed at in Louisville, which compelled us to book the same brand hotel in Lexington. Outdated (no USB ports in outlets, TV remote was old and barely worked). Hardly enough room in elevator for a family with luggage. Same with the front door—could barely fit the luggage cart through. On site market didn’t have much. Breakfast was great and staff was very friendly.

Residence Inn South Lexington was really a wonderful stay for us. The pool was open and hot breakfast was available despite the lingering pandemic. Masks were required in the breakfast serving area, and are not necessary in other areas for vaccinated individuals but is for unvaccinated individuals. We stayed in the two bedroom suite and were pleasantly surprised to find two FULL bathrooms as well! What a treat for our family! We had a family issue arise and had to cut our trip from two nights to just one and the staff was very helpful and courteous to change our booking and not charge us for the second night. As a result we booked again with them for the way back home even though it wasn't our original plan but our Last minute change meant we would be back that way again. The room was very clean. The only negatives were that the TVs pictures were very poor resolution and we couldn't figure out how to fix them or if we could and also they had no ability to access our Disney+ and no offering of Disney channels despite being geared towards families for the hotel. It was nice that the pool was open but just fyi the pool is outside and NOT heated. These Florida babies were shivering in the water. Overall we were very impressed and will add them to our favorites if we ever are in Lexington again.

Excellent stay
My stay was absolutely wonderful. The room was extremely clean and had everything I needed in it (dishes, paper towels etc..). The staff that I encountered were extremely nice and helpful.. I come in every Monday and Tuesday and have decided that this will be my chosen place to stay.
