Peaceful Wildlife Paradise
Michael is a great communicator! The property and home are beautiful, and the kitchen was very well stocked. The property is 20 acres that butts up to the woods however is fenced and gated, so you feel safe. There is an abundance of wildlife! The bed and pillow were very nice Tempur-Pedic style, which I really like. You feel like you are at a faraway place but are literally only minutes from the village. The village has everything you need including some great restaurants and Port Huron, which is only 15-20 minutes away, has all you would typically find in a larger city. This home is new, cozy and well appointed. You will not be disappointed. They have another VRBO, even closer to town, that I am staying at now, which is equally wonderful. The Sheridan's are great hosts!

Another great stay in the woods
We have now stayed at this property 3 times this past year, and this is thanks to the well-maintained condition of the property, the unique setting amidst woods, fields and many acres of land, and the secluded nature of the property as well. In short, it's a great set-up and an easy getaway. We'll be back! The owner is cordial and helpful, and you just can't beat the space

Relaxing country cottage
This was our 2nd time staying at this property. It is very spacious, clean and well equipped . We especially loved the wild life we saw in the backyard...many deer and a whole family of turkeys! One day a little hummingbird even came to visit.

Perfect place close to everything.
Family of 8 stayed for a family bounding trip. We enjoyed the Farmers market in Croswell & Lexington. Both small towns have so much going on, such as concerts in the park, classic car cruise, the harbor, the swing bridge. This super clean and fully stocked house is so close to everything and perfect. Everything you need is there. We will definitely be back!

Highly Recommend!
Truly can’t beat this location. Five minutes to downtown Lexington, but quiet/scenic and away from any tourist crowds. The cabin was SO clean, with all the amenities you would need. We stayed with our 9 month old baby and it worked great for us. We loved seeing the wildlife, sunrises, and sunsets through the large picture windows. Host Mike was communicative, professional, and friendly. Highly recommend booking here!

Me and my friends had my bachelorette weekend here and had a great time. Clean and comfortable! The little black cat roaming around the house was a big hit as well, a total sweetheart! Secluded but still close to everything!

Quick weekend trip was wonderful!
My husband and I brought our dog for a quick weekend trip to hang out on the water and celebrate our 1 year anniversary. Weather wasn’t great which was a bummer but we made the best out of it and wandered downtown and to Lakeport state park for a few hours when the sun was out! Went to bunny’s custard and ventured to Fort Gratiot for a few hours as well. This rental was beautiful inside and out! Beautiful wood furnishings and all new appliances. Also really appreciated the Keurig with cups for my morning coffee obsessed self lol. So roomy, and comfortable it was a 10/10 experience. Would definitely consider staying again with some friends/family and hopefully get to hang outside when the weather is promising! Bonfire pit looked great! Only thing I would recommend that I saw others post as well, is to add some fixtures or tint to the window as there were not any in the bathroom and bedroom.

Perfect Getaway
My wife and I thoroughly enjoyed our stay at this property. Clean, well-stocked, perfectly positioned, far enough away, well secluded, yet close enough to anything you would need. Beautiful wildlife, and a perfect setup. We're talkin' wild turkey, deer, songbirds, all the hits. Did I mention that the property backs up on an orchard? The owner was extremely helpful and quick to answer any questions. We booked literally last minute and were able to tie on a 5 night vaca that rivals anywhere else we've been. WE WILL BE BACK

Great Cabin for our stay
We really enjoyed this a cabin. It was clean, well-stocked and perfect for our family over the weekend. It’s so close to downtown Lexington and golf courses. Our daughter was at Black River Horse Camp just down the road! Fireplace with well-stocked wood made outdoor time perfect. Inside was clean and prepped with so many amentities to use and extra supplies in case you forget something. We would definitely recommend this place! Thank you!!!

A peaceful retreat
The Lexington cottage was a perfect fit for our getaway. I grew up in the area and it was wonderful to stay in a place that reminded me of home. The deer entertained us morning and evening, and we even spotted a couple of wild turkeys one morning! Thanks to Michael for being such a great host, responding quickly to our messages, and even helping us navigate the TV! A great stay, and we would definitely stay again!

Wonderful Stay in Beautiful Michigan!
The home was so comfortable and gave a family of 5 plenty of room! Close enough to the lake and very near to cute shops. We loved eating at Windjammers and enjoyed games on the back deck while watching the deer and bunnies. Love the Lake Huron side of the state as much as the UP. The house was so cute perfect size for a little getaway. I feel like the property was perfect because we get loud at night. Wasn’t far from the water at all. My family and I really enjoyed this quiet and quaint home. It was exceptionally clean with so many nice touches. We really enjoyed the extra tooth brushes and accessories that gave it a welcome feel. The only thing I would suggest is some window treatments. During the day it is beautiful to look outside and see wildlife, but at night it was a tad unsettling, especially in the bathroom when we wanted to shower. Other than that, everything was amazing!!! This was a lovely rental!

Was in town for a family event. The house was just super comfortable and decorated so cute! Loved having 4 large beds. We had myself and my 3 boys ages (18,17 & 15). Just What I Needed!
The night before leaving for our stay my friend's business partner's mother passed away so he had to cancel. It was too late for a refund so I decided at the last minute to go alone, with my 2 dogs. It was just what I've needed. Peaceful relaxation. I loved watching all the wild life eating clover during the day and relaxing by the firepit in the evenings. The home was clean and stocked with anything you should need. There's plenty of entertainment, stores, grocers, restaurants and beaches close by but I enjoyed the serenity of just relaxing at the house. My dogs thoroughly enjoyed their stay, as well. 🙂

This is a great getaway that is close to local attractions but offers a slice of the country. Deer roam the property, and birds are plentiful. Great place to unwind after a day of sightseeing.

Summer Girls Weekend
Great property with easy access to the beach and charming downtown Lexington! Having the single bedroom with multiple beds actually worked out perfectly fo a weekend of catching up with friends. Decided to book this place on a whim and was just looking for close proximity to the beach. We really lucked out with the cleanliness of the house with modern updates and very cute decor. Perfect end to the beach days with the fire pit. The on-site wood availability was a bonus!
