It begins with the host Mark, who makes you feel like family. Checking in before and during the trip to ensure all your needs are being met. The home itself is spacious and so very comfortable. All had a fantastic night's rest. The kitchen island is a wonderful gathering place and a great place to work. The outdoor space provides the ability to cook, dine, and relax. My family of 5 spent 4 nights in this home and I cannot say enough great things about it!! The house itself is beautiful--the pictures do not do it justice. It has been completely remodeled and no detail was missed. Both bathrooms are beautiful and have thick, wonderful towels, a hair dryer and a starter set of toiletries. All three bedrooms are beautifully decorated, have very comfortable beds, great bedding and tv's. The living room has plenty of places to sit and a great tv with surround sound. The outdoor area is private and so relaxing. The fire pit, string lights and grilling area were a favorite for us. The kitchen in this home is the star though. Not only is it beautiful, it is the most well stocked kitchen you will find in any vacation rental. The owners really thought of everything that you will need! There was a full assortment of spices, cooking spray, aluminum foil, parchment paper, several kinds of coffee, coffee syrups, creamers, sugar and the list goes on and on. I was super impressed! The kitchen also has a huge island with seating for 8 people. We really enjoyed the location as it was in walking distance of downtown Georgetown and its cute shops, about a 20-25 minute drive to Lexington for our visit to Rupp Arena, and just over an hour to Louisville. Last, but probably most important to me, the communication with our host Mark was exceptional.
