Mr Ayers was the Governor of Montana from 1937-1941\. It is in the historical district called the “Courthouse District”. 3 large bedrooms are upstairs with one bath and 2 bedrooms are on the main floor with 2 baths. The main floor has a large living room, dining room, kitchen, game room and office. We have security cameras on the exterior of the house. The Governor's House was the perfect place to stay in Lewistown. It reminded us of a house we rented near downtown Bozeman in the late 1960s and early 1970's. Lots of charm!! We cooked dinner on night and found everything we needed was available in the kitchen to produce our meal. The beds and bathrooms (3) were great and we each had our own spacious bedroom!
