With comfortable accommodations, a private sun-trap courtyard, and an attic playroom with a children's pool table, this home is perfect for a relaxing stay close to local amenities and historic sites. Ideal for families or couples looking to explore the area while enjoying a cozy retreat. We will be available to assist throughout your stay but we do not live on site at the property. The very name ‘Lewes’ is synonymous with its annual Bonfire Night which is the largest November 5th event in the world. Carnival comes to town with pagan processions, traditions, costumes, fire sites and fireworks which attract people from far and wide – it’s quite the spectacle. You will need to book early for this event though to avoid disappointment! November festivities aside, there is plenty to entertain you in Lewes with art galleries, antique emporiums, museums and many cafes, local pubs and boutique shops, all serving and selling artisan produce made with love by local businesses and residents.
