The staff were great and super helpful. The amenities aren't great but I was really happy with how quick they were to help with any issues. For example, there were a couple little things that needed repairing at the gym and they did it quite quickly. The gym could use some updating tho over all. Just a proper set of free weights would be great. Room was clean.

A comfortable place to stay

Posted 3-Oct-2016
Pros: Comfortable beds!
Cons: The TV menu system and channel selection... it's annoying trying to figure out which shows are on when the channels don't match the listings.
Location: Right on Mayor Magrath Drive; just off Highway 3. Easy access.
The Sandman Hotel was where we stayed for a high school volleyball tournament. The rooms were clean and comfortable. No surprises; good or bad.

Quiet hotel

Easy parking, nice and friendly staff, a few shotty looking characters walking in the reception area but never any problems. The rooms are clean, quiet and comfortable.

Hotel ok but....

It's 2016, and wifi is everywhere and necessary for business travellers. The wifi at this hotel was extremely poor, thus frustrating. A Sandman should have better. Staff friendly and rooms were fine.

The hotel needs reno. Noise from the outside can be heard in our room. I'd seen outsiders roaming around the lobby (looks drunk) during our check-in

Disgusting and filthy

Posted 6-Sep-2016
I was 10min early for check in at 4pm(much later than most hotels) and no one was at the check in counter. I had to wait at least 10 min for anyone to show up. The receptionist was very nice and gave me the cards to my room. When we walked into the room I almost vomitted with how disgustingly filthy the entire room was. There was stained blood and makeup on the white duvet and black curly(I am blonde!)hairs on the bedding. There were holes in the bedding as well. The walls were filled with bug guts(someone swatted the flys but left them there glued to the walls)which made me even more disgusted. Then the black office chair had a pink candy looking like goop dripping down the back but seemed to have hardened. Eeeeewwwww! So gross! To top it off the fan in the bathroom looked like 2 inches of mold growing off of and inside of it. I was ready to leave as I have stayed in so many hotels in my lifetime that this was by far the grossest room I have ever seen. I called the front desk to complain so I was upgraded to a "renovated" room. Thankfully the room was at least clean other than the floor which had stains all over it. My husband and I tried to watch some TV to relax and the remote did not work. We had another remote delivered to the room which still did not work. By this time we were done with trying to receive any type of "working equipment". Oh and I almost forgot to mention the pigeons that were so loud! Good luck sleeping in past sunrise! Why do other company's have
