Convenience is what sells this hotel.
The hotel its self is not too bad it easy for travelers on the Red Aroww to use, and over all it tries to be a better hotel. But, as hard as the staff try, and believe me they are awesome no complaints there. The hotel cannot escape the fact it's outdated and in need of physical updates. The elevators need a through mechanical servicing to start. But what really needs to be adressed first is the windows in the rooms, seriously single pane glass,?! and partially screwed shut old sliding doors. Noisy, noisy. Sounded like the road was outside my window and I was up a few floors. Rock hard bed and mix and match furniture didn't help either.
But the one thing that management/owners can address ASAP is the fact that, although it's a great idea to have a in room little coffee maker. It is not a great idea to have coffee mugs that have clearly, clearly been used by the last guest and just been wiped out! That is just gross. It should be policy to always, always replace all cups with new ones EVERY guest check out. not just leave the old ones there if they appear to be clean. Nasty. So don't use the cups until you scrub them yourself, don't trust they are clean. I had lip slobber marks on the one in my room, and signs some had swished a rag on the other there was still grunge in the bottom. And I don't want to talk about the bath room ones.
The good news is it's a safe building and the staff are great. And Denny's down stairs!

I am very fortunate to work alongside such a competent team of staff and actively seek to empower them to deal with rare instances where we don’t quite meet the grade.
