I would stay here again
Positive Aspect: Location: The hotel was conveniently located, which made it easy to access various attractions and amenities in the area. Negative Aspects: Room Size: The room I stayed in was very small, making it feel cramped and uncomfortable. Poor Ventilation: The room lacked proper ventilation, resulting in a stuffy and unpleasant odor. Noise Disturbance: Unfortunately, my room was located next to the linen room, which meant that the staff’s activities woke us up early in the morning, disrupting our sleep. Low-Quality Towels: The towels provided in the room were small and threadbare, not meeting the expected standards of comfort. Overpriced Breakfast: The hotel offered breakfast for 15 Euros, which I found to be unreasonably expensive for a French breakfast. As a result, I chose to have breakfast outside the hotel and found a more affordable and satisfying option. Lack of Parking: One of the inconveniences I encountered was the absence of parking facilities at the hotel. This forced me to pay an additional 32 Euros for parking during my stay. Language Barrier: The hotel staff’s inability to communicate in English was frustrating, especially in a tourist-oriented hotel.

I won't answer to all, I won't lose my time.you are talking about language barrier, in that case you should write I' WOULD'NT STAY ..room Size is 20 m2 it could smaller for you, but all details was written inside ( I hope) hotel.com room details. about parking fee, as written in hotel.com details no parking in our hotel ( I don't run parking) about breakfast ( you qualify French) I don't think we used the same argument , but that"s true you bring food from outside without asking us what do we serve for breakfast. Once again you lie, you bring stuff to have breakfast in your room and not to have breakfast outside ...anyway next time choose a 4 stars hotels everything will be more expensive , but honestly you are the kind of guest always complaining .. Good luck for the future

Great location
Great check in – young lady gave us directions and sites to see with lots of enthusiasm. Very convenient for walking around Rouen. Room was small even for two people.

Well located in Rouen
A well located hotel and within easy walking distance to all the sights. A lot of restaurants near by and approximately 20-25 minutes walk from the train station. A bit dated with a cute concept as if the room was a train. Bed was comfortable and the bedding very clean. I tried breakfast but maybe I wasn't lucky that day but it did not taste fresh. I would stay here again.

This hotel was a great place to stay. Its location is perfect for being right in the middle of everything. The neighborhoods surrounding it has plenty of restaurants, bakeries, bars, and all the sites that are important to see in the city. The rooms are decorated individually with themes. Ours was Fort Knox. The rooms are not big, but they were sufficient. The bathrooms are tiny, but again they have everything you need. The staff is very friendly and helpful. We would stay here again.

Overcharging at Hotel de l'Europe
Although the Hotel de L'Europe was in many ways OK, my main problem was that they insisted on charging me more that the agreed rate. I had understood from the booking website that the room would be 80 Euro for one night. In fact I was charged 92 Euro. Unfortunately I had no documentary evidence to hand for the 80 Euro rate. Bad mistake. Not a huge difference in price but this practice of claiming one rate when you book and another when you pay is, I'm told, fairly common. It is very poor practice.

Modern hotel with good location
A comfortable modern hotel very close to the cathedral and "gros horloge" and with spacious rooms. I went by on the morning of my stay to leave my suitcase and it took a moment to arrange this but it all worked out. Fast elevator. A little noisy at night from the street, but very comfortable bed. Overall, a nice hotel well situated for visiting Rouen with everything you'd expect.

Good compact hotel in the very centre of old Rouen
We stayed for a night in the family room. Two adults and a 7 year old. Very happy with the room. The family room is located on the quiet side of the hotel so we slept well! Great shower! Warning to those staying on Saturdays like us - most cafes for breakfast open at 11am so bring an emergency croissant for the little ones if they wake early! Friendly and helpful staff and a fantastic little bar for a cheeky late night drink if desired. Great for one night stays in Rouen and those passing through.. parking 15 euros a night in secure car park next door.

Good one night stay
I stayed in the hotel for one night, on a business trip. The room was clean, although quite small. The walls are very thin, and you could hear what was happening outside the room and on the floor above. The location is about a 10 minute walk from the train station, and a 10 minute walk from the Cathedral, but closer to the restaurant and bar area. Overall, good stay, but only because it was for one night.

Tired hotel in a tired street
Accepting it was a Sunday night we arrived, no reception staff when we arrived & unable to even get into the hotel for 5 minutes due to card key entry. No parking & had to park 5 minutes away on a street. Bathroom was good but family room was pokey/small for the 4 of us. No air-con on a hot night. Bed was ok, but the sofa bed the kids slept on was perhaps not so good. Lots of insect bites on the kids (approx 6 each) after the nights sleep. Shower was good a lots of clean towels. Didn't stop for breakfast, so unable to comment. Appreciate sometimes you get what you pay for, but this was not a budget price we paid for this hotel. Sorry.

Great room, for the price!
Friendly staff and knowledgeable staff greeted us and explained how parking worked. Tiny elevator can only take one person and suitcase at a time, but thats really my only critique. Everything else about this hotel is great; price, location, quiet, clean and staff.

Lors de la réservation, le site indiquait que l'hotel dispose de parking gratuit, or à l'arrivée sur place l'accueil nous a fait comprendre que l'hotel n'avait pas de places de parking pour les hôtes et nous a gentiment indiqué le parking payant de sur la rue. Chauffage allumé dans la chambre avec 20° de température extérieure. La déco de la chambre est carrément vieux jeu: papier peint sur les murs, moniteur tv, pvc dans les douches. Points positifs: personnel, propreté proximité du centre ville. Toutefois je n'y retournerais pas pour un prochain séjour à Rouen.

Bonjour, merci de votre commentaire .. nulle part il est écrit parking gratuit mensonge n1, chauffage allumé avec 20 je ne sais pas comment vous mesurez la température ?? a vue de nez ??? le chauffage est éteint depuis le 5 Juin mensonge n2 .. cher monsieur je n'irais donc pas plus loin dans ma réponse .... pour le papier peint, cela se fait encore croyez moi .. cela étant pourquoi n'avoir pas mentionné le prix auquel vous avez touché cette chambre ?? c'est étrange non ? on ne peut pas tout avoir pour si peu ..
