"I chose this destination & hotel to celebrate my birthday and I must say I loved everything about it, the hotel is perfectly located in the center and few steps from the gondolas station, nice restaurant options around the area, make sure you visit before the closing season as many good restaurants close on Apr 7. Good spa & friendly staff, highly recommended "

"Location was amazing! Ski in and ski out. Just off the Jardin Alpine gondola. Great breakfast choices. Friendly staff. Hotel car took us to dinner one night when it was snowing hard. The staff goes above and beyond. We rented our ski gear at the hotel and they had all our gear waiting for us at 8:00 am. This is a terrific service! We were able to walk every where weather permitting. "

"we booked this hotel because it is one of the few in the area that can be booked independently for a few days. We were pleasantly surprised - a welcoming family run hotel, with a very nice bar/lounge area, well equipped and comfortable bedrooms with wi-fi. There is a sauna, hammam and jacuzzi downstairs. "I had a wonderful stay at this hotel despite it being somewhat modest, lacking a proper lobby. However, the reception from and care by India, the property manager was exceptional. I was traveling alone and India made sure all was well with me and that I made myself familiar with everything. For a modest hotel in a pricey area this was truly comfortable and hospitable! "This was our second family ski holiday staying at Madame Vacances Hotel Le Mottaret and we have been very impressed on both occasions. The very helpful and friendly staff are excellent. The location of the hotel is right next to the slope, a 30 second stroll from the hotel entrance. There is a ski equipment hire shop on the premises which is very convenient. The lounge/bar area is very comfortable and cosy after a day on the slopes, as well as the very soothing jacuzzi located outside at the front of the hotel. The swimming pool/spa area is also very relaxing. We stayed on half-board. The buffet breakfast is fantastic and each evening there was a different theme for the buffet dinner. We really enjoyed every meal! Our room was clean and comfortable and the shower was amazing! We would thoroughly recommend a stay here and we hope to be back again soon too!"
