Prima uitvalsbasis voor een doorreis. Grote, ruime kamer (familie appartement), auto voor de deur en dichtbij de snelweg. Helaas geen faciliteiten voor kinderen in de nabije omgeving (speeltuin oid). Staat ook niet bij beschrijving of foto's, dus is absoluut geen verwijt. Kamers waren redelijk schoon, behalve relatief veel stof op hangende lampen, etc. Dat is jammer. Echter wij zijn overall zeker positief.

it's a roadside motel. so expect a roadside model. the picture obviously was taken in its glory days, but I guess whilst the motel cannot control the grey sky above it can control the sign which is in need of a fresh coat of paint. the area is super convenient for travel, and there is a fabulous bakery across the road (drive thru too) and a wonderful burger restaurant, plus on site there is a good restaurant / bar, the staff were super friendly and you can park right outside your room which gives comfort knowing all your possessions are right outside and you could hear if anyone came near your car, the entrance to the motel isn't gated though but I wasn't concerned as the area was nice enough and far enough out the way that I doubt any wrong doers would be popping by. As for the room perhaps I got short changed, on the plus side the bed itself was crispy clean sheets and comfortable, it had a large window you could open for fresh air and a fantastic air conditioning unit which kept the room super cold which I loved, plus a TV too, the shower was actually a good make so you got a good fairly powerful hot shower (better than some hotels), but the floor was uneven and it meant even the quickest of showers lead to a flood in the shower room, that was really my only gripe, other than that I feel it was slightly over priced for what it was but I cannot fault it for what purpose it served, a place to rest our heads on route elsewhere. so, would I stay again, probably.

We had a great stay at Motel des Landes. The property is simple but it has everything we needed. We rented an apartment and it had plenty of room for the four of us, including a separate bedroom and a nice patio with table. The kitchenette was very convenient to cook our meals. The staff was very friendly and welcoming. We will return!

Good Stop Over place
This place is in great location for a stop over on route to Spain. Pleasant greeting at reception and the room was nice and clean - basic but for quick stop over ideal

Great stop off to or back from Spain
We needed a good stop off place when travelling back from Spain to the UK. The Motel is situated close to the main Autoroute, with good facilities nearby. Checkin was easy and the ability to park your car directly outside your room was a bonus. (less lugging of overnight bags and car in close proximity for security etc.) The room was basic but clean and had AC for heating and cooling. The shower was powerful and plenty of hot water. We would definitely stop here again.

Apartment was good with parking right outside. There was no thing to sit on apart from plastic dining chairs. It would have made our stay much more comfortable if there had been a sofa bed in the lounge area as shown in publicity photos. Chicken coop behind the room meant early morning alarm calls, but were interesting to watch during the day!

Very Dissapointed
We have been regular visitors to the Motel des Landes but found this trip very disappointed, the Motel is looking very tatty and in need of refurbishment, the towels were thread bare, and the shower was full of black mould, in our room there was only one plastic chair so only one of us could sit down the other person had to sit on the bed, or stand. Due to our disappointment we cancelled our one night stay on our return to the uk next week.

Great for an overnight stop
We had an apartment as we are more than four people. There is a small kitchen area with fridge, hob, sink, kettle and microwave. This is in the same room as a double bed and leads onto a covered patio area. The second bedroom had a single and double bed, attached was a bathroom with shower and toilet. Outside the bathroom was a large sink area. It's very well set out. Towels and toiletries were also provided. The beach is a ten minute drive and is very nice.

Motel des Landes - very good
Due to traffic we arrived after the reception had closed; however a few clicks on the outside keypad and our key arrived. The room was clean and comfortable. The breakfast bar was well stocked and the staff were very pleasant. The hotel was easy to find and overall we enjoyed our short stay. We will certainly re-book the next time we drive down to Spain.

4th time we have stayed here. Spacious Rooms always clean, plenty of hot water. Restaurant serves great food with a lovely attitude.

started badly, because our room had no towels or soap, and reception seemed to have to extra supplies. I suggested looking at another room, and this had all the towels etc in place, so we were just allocated them - which was fine. but it all seemed a bit strange. there is a v good bar/restaurant next to the motel, which makes for a good overnight arrangement.

Convenient and Easy
The hotel fulfilled a need for a place to pass the night close to an event in which we were participating. We needed only a place to rest our heads, and the hotel did this effectively. The fact that there was a reasonably-priced restaurant on the premises was an added bonus. The staff were pleasant and agreeable. Breakfast was satisfactory, and good value for money

Great Little Overnight Stop
Ideal Motel for an overnight stay on a road trip to Portugal. Clean, simple, modern, adequate parking outside the room, adequate restaurant on site,reasonably priced with Menu du Jour and A La Carte. We didn't bother with breakfast as we found a fantastic boulangerie just across the road. Coffee & croissants galore.

Excellent pit stop for the night. Need to travel up the road for more choice of places to eat at more reasonable prices. Also fuel can be purchased for less if you travel a couple of miles further up the road

Very Clean and comfortable
This is a good place to stay overnight. We were on our way down to Spain so very convenient just at the side of the motorway. It appears to be a new hotel and everything was spotless. A bit far out of Bayonne if you were visiting the city.

A perfect motel
Clean, functional, comfortable, good design, good location, nice staff. We stayed for two nights on a driving holiday. Easy location to get to and due to it being September the roads had little traffic. The motel was exactly what was required and the only possible improvement would be a kettle for tea (we flew in so limited baggage) in the normal rooms. We didn't use the bar but did have the continental breakfast which was good value for money.

Logement parfait pour une halte ! Pas besoin de décharger la voiture puisqu'on peut la garer à la porte de la chambre. Très confortable, propre et très bien équipé ! Très facile d'accès avec la borne automatique pour le checkin pour une arrivée à partir de 21h. Petit restaurant juste à côté pour les repas ou simplement pour une consommation et boulangerie juste en face du Motel. Très recommandable !!!!
