We quickly made friends with some of the locals and played a spontaneous game of badminton with them at their hidden private court! The view from our room was absolutely unbeatable. Beautiful not only for sunrise and sunset. We could sit on that porch all day and just relax in the breeze. Plenty of good restaurants along the same street with great food and even live music and games to mingle with the locals. The rooms are tastefully decorated and always clean every day. Double glass doors open onto a verandah with a gorgeous view of Mushroom Bay - ocean view as well as the pool and beautiful gardens of Grand Sea View. The staff were very friendly and helpful. The rooms were spacious, clean and had everything required to be comfortable. Made and her family made me feel so welcomed! She is a wonderful cook and gave me a divine massage. The room was beautiful snd and clean with a view to die for. Someone was always around in the reception area to get me a cold Bintang or rent me a scooter for the day. Snorkeling and other excursions were also available. The staff was friendly and caring, always a smile on their face. This is a wonderful place to come to tead by the pool and relax. I will always stay here when I come to Lembongan! Check in they didn’t know we were coming and i prepaid my stay, the room was dirty. There was hair all over the shower, bed linens were dirty and grungy looking, they gave two small bath towels that were also dingy looking and no wash cloths or flower mats for bathroom. Room is all tile so it makes for a pretty slippery places when getting out of shower without proper mats to stand on. The bathroom is like a gym with the shower and toilet and sink all in close proximity. One night we got back to our room and the water was not working so we couldn’t shower. When we did get water it was very low pressure and cold. All the places we stayed offered drinking water for guest, this place does not. Before arriving in Lembongan I had a good number of email and whatsapp dialogues with Lupi re booking ferries. I kept changing times and arrival details, and must have, consequently, been extremely annoying but Lupi was the most patient and pleasant person to deal with and she sorted everything out perfectly. I was already impressed with Taman Seaview before we arrived. I had read a number of reviews about how rude the staff are at this hotel, but I have to say our experience was 100% the opposite - everyone was a smiling delight. We especially loved Subali! The dorm beds were extremely comfortable, the shared bathroom was adequate. The pool was fantastic - what a great view. The location was convenient - not too noisy an area and within walking distance of pretty much everything (although we do like to walk and explore). Everything was very clean. Breakfast was simple and satisfying. Man får rigtigt meget for pengene her: Udsigten er super, poolen dejlig ren og af pæn størrelse. Morgenmad ( beskeden) er inkluderet. Kvaliteten af maden i restauranten er god og priserne rimelige. Vi ( 2 voksne og 2 børn)boede i familieværelset, et lille anneks med perfekt udsigt fra terrassen, 2 separate værelser og 2 badeværelser. Beliggenheden er lidt isoleret, men scootere kan lejes på stedet , det fungerede fint for os. Ellers er der ca 20 min gang til mushroom bay med fine spisesteder, stranden, snorkelbåde, solnedgangen etc. (Prøv også at gå den modsatte vej 5 min til Nicks Place, fantastiske spareribs. ) Personalet var generelt ok, men ikke helt professionelle, og de taler ret dårligt engelsk. Det har lidt karakter af et "homestay+".. Vi oplevede andre gæster have udfordringer med ind/ udtjekning og vi måtte også vente 1 times tid ved ankomst mens de klargjorde værelset. Derudover kan det nævnes at det er ret tæt på det lokale tempel, og er man der under fuldmånefejringen spilles/ synges der meget højt til kl 23.. The hotel was lovely and quiet, the staff very friendly and welcoming to our family and every question asked was replied to to our complete satisfaction. Our balcony overlooked the pool and mushroom bay. Everything at Taman seaview is very relaxing. Udsigten er fantastisk og har en rigtig god beliggenhed. Man bliver ikke tilbudt meget morgenmad. Du får et menukort hvor du kan vælge få ting. Vi bad om frugt, men det havde de ikke? Så det eneste der var tilbage var et glas juice og så kunne vi vælge imellem brød eller en pandekage med syltetøj og ananas i. The og kaffe tilbydes også. Morgenmaden får 1 ud af 5 stjerner. Vi købte morgenmad i et supermarked sidste dag, da vi allerede var blevet træt af deres morgenmad og valgte at spise det fra vores store altan og nød udsigten. Vi lejede en scooter for 80.000 rph via hotellet pr. dag svarende til 40 kr. Det er meget nemt at komme omkring øen fra hotellet. Vi havde smidt håndklæder på gulvet for at bede om nye, men fik det ikke og de havde ikke givet os en ny rulle toiletpapir- det måtte jeg bede om. Derudover så havde jeg efterladt en kaffekop på altanen som de ikke havde fjernet og den var fyldt med små dyr. Rengøringen får 2 ud af 5 stjerner. Det er en ung fyr som står for rengøringen. Toiletterne ved poolen er ulækre. Overordnet set er der intet i vejen med dette hotel og vi følte at det havde den bedste beliggenhed på hele øen selvom det ikke lige lå ned til stranden. Derudover vil jeg lige nævne at man skal gøre badet meget kort hvis man vil nå at have varmt vand.
